About Chateau Elan Winery & Resort
Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is a golf resort located in the North Georgia mountains to the northeast of the Atlanta metro area in Braselton. This 3,500-acre estate is home to a nearly 300-room and suite resort (with a collection of villas as well), winery and four golf courses (one of which is accessible to members only). In addition to two 18-hole resort courses, there is a 9-hole executive course. The resort completed a $25 million enhancement project in September, 2020, the first major renovation since the property opened in the 1980s. The lobby was entirely redesigned and there are four new dining concepts. Additional activities at Chateau Elan include an outdoor pool, tennis courts and culinary studio.Facts

This was the #13 green if i'm not mistaken. Can see how nice the sand bunkers were and how nice the green was. Photo submitted by bryan6804634 on 09/16/2016
Basic course nothing fancy
The chateau course seemed easier than the woodlands which I have played before. I would recommend it for beginners, but for advanced players would recommend woodlands. My perspective is that chateau was a bit overpriced and the quality was nothing exceptional. Still didn't feel like a waste of time but was expecting more after playing woodlands.
Course in great condition
Although the weather was really hot. The course was in great shape and enjoyed our round.
HOT
We had a 0740 tee time to beat the heat. Not only did we pay $87 for golf + small bucket of balls, but there was no jugs of water or beverage cart on the course! It was 83 with high humidity and no way to get water until you were on your way to 15th hole! Unacceptable! For that price for a round, there needs to be opportunities to get water! Course is WAY overpriced for what you get! I will not be back, nor will I recommend to friends!
Chateau side
Nice layout, great conditions but greens were quite slow. Probably had been punched a week or two prior so understandable. Pace of play was great. Staff was welcoming and helpful.
great course worth the drive and the money for a special occasion
had a great round w some family in town. well maintained and like a bird sanctuary... owls, turkey vultures, hawks, blue heron, ducks and geese along the way. was fantastic.
We were not notified they were literally doing construction on the course 80$ for bumpy punched greens trees being cut down and empty bunkers? I think not. Wouldn’t have been so upset if we were informed. Wouldn’t have left a review if the app didn’t prompt me either just simply would never go back.
Fabulous !
Awesome course the tee boxes, fairways and greens are amazing. This course a treat worth paying.
Great Golf Club
Awesome course from the club house to the first tee . Tee box are in fantastic shape the fairways are well maintained and greens are fabulous.
Great day.
Great day on the course with my nephew and brother in law! The course was in excellent shape, even with all the rain that it has received recently. Very few wet spots. In fact we started out as cart parts only, but were then advised by a marshal that it had been lifted. Greens has just been punched, but everything else was pristine!
