About Chateau Elan Winery & Resort
Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is a golf resort located in the North Georgia mountains to the northeast of the Atlanta metro area in Braselton. This 3,500-acre estate is home to a nearly 300-room and suite resort (with a collection of villas as well), winery and four golf courses (one of which is accessible to members only). In addition to two 18-hole resort courses, there is a 9-hole executive course. The resort completed a $25 million enhancement project in September, 2020, the first major renovation since the property opened in the 1980s. The lobby was entirely redesigned and there are four new dining concepts. Additional activities at Chateau Elan include an outdoor pool, tennis courts and culinary studio.Facts

Awesome Course
I love this Par 3! Only criticism would be for poorly marked tee boxes.
Huge changes at the course - Decent conditions for Feb
Holes 8 though 12 were previously in a forest and how home construction is underway

I will say the views from 11th green are now amazing.. Who knew they were there
Course is decent condition for Feb.. Greens are faster than normal even..

Course conditions were very good, greens firm and quick, felt like a mid tier private club.

Great course .. winter weather took a little away from the beauty of this course (colors) .. but still an amazing outing .. my go to always when visiting GA .. and pair it up with the georgia miles they have at the clubhouse .. hard to beat .. coming back in 3 months .. always a must

Carts may be hosed down after play but certainly not washed. 30 carts lined up and couldn’t find a clean one.
No tees on the cart. Seems small, unless you need one.
Got stuck 3 times on cart path. Really. Sensor said I was in a no cart allowed area. Very frustrating to have to keep backing up to find the side of the path to go forward. Later warned by Ranger to pick up our 8 minute behind pace.
Cart paths are just dangerous. My group was all stunned to ride on such deteriorated asphalt paths.
Greens were great. All and all, for $180, not worth it.
And they have wine?
Came to play on a day off. Staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy. It was 30 degrees out so no one else was around. Had a blast despite the cold temps. Everything was well maintained. Greens were in great shape, rough was challenging but fair. Only negative is they apparently clean up orphaned golf balls religiously, so I didn’t find any but left a few for those that come after. Would play again.
Great short, fun course!
Had fun playing here with my girlfriend who is getting into golf. 18 holes is too long for her so I I wanted to try a par 3 course. Greens were in good shape for this time of year. Ball rolled fast. You have to be precise with your shots! Last hole was tough! We lost 3 balls in the water before calling it a day! Not bad for $25!
