About Chateau Elan Winery & Resort
Chateau Elan Winery & Resort is a golf resort located in the North Georgia mountains to the northeast of the Atlanta metro area in Braselton. This 3,500-acre estate is home to a nearly 300-room and suite resort (with a collection of villas as well), winery and four golf courses (one of which is accessible to members only). In addition to two 18-hole resort courses, there is a 9-hole executive course. The resort completed a $25 million enhancement project in September, 2020, the first major renovation since the property opened in the 1980s. The lobby was entirely redesigned and there are four new dining concepts. Additional activities at Chateau Elan include an outdoor pool, tennis courts and culinary studio.Facts

What a great resort and course
Loved everything about this place. Despite a foggy morning, the course was great from start to finish. We played early and the pace of play was great. Layout, conditions, greens were all great. Fair test of golf but not easy. Nice people working there, great lunch. I look forward to coming back.
Adequate
Nothing special but a serviceable track. Gems were in bad shape and low areas divot ridden. Solid layout that could be excellent if they improved the condition.
Aeration Alert!
For $75 I would at least expect a notification that the greens were recently aerated. No Beverage cart on a Saturday afternoon, the course does not go by the clubhouse at any point from hole 1 to 18, only 2 of the water kegs we came across had water in them and it was pretty warm that day. Dont waste the money until the greens come back!!!!!
Slowest play ever
Waited 15 minutes ever hole worst pace of play ever . Not worth the money .

Bargain price
Special discounted price $40 due to aeration. That was fine. Great weather and a geeat day on the course.
Green is under Aeration
Great challenging layout but the Spring time aeration on the green frustrates the putting.

Finally dry
Woodlands had dried out after several days of rain. Course was in good shape.
