Georgia's Hard Labor Creek State Park is located on Lake Rutlege east of Atlanta off I-20. This state park facility features a range of accommodations from camp sites and RV sites to 20 2-bedroom cottages. Amenities here are highlighted by the 18-hole golf course designed by Denis Griffiths and features a pro shop, full driving range, grill and bar. Additional features of this state park, which is on the National Register of Historic Places, is horseback riding, off-road mountain biking, hiking, beachside swimming and boat rentals.Facts

Fantastic Place
This is a wonderful course with a challenging old school layout and friendly staff. The head pro Karl is an awesome guy. Well worth a visit!
Staff was great.
Everything was top notch and worth the trip. Only thing from getting 5 stars were the bunkers were not raked. Have a great time
Nice Course
Saw a hot deal for this course. It’s was last minute so me and my partner said let’s try it out. This course was worth the drive. The lay out was challenging. There was 2 to 3 greens that was patchy. But overall the greens was rolling nice. I look forward to playing this course again
Fantastic course
Although I only got to play 9 of 18 due to rain it'd a great place to play.
Great Course
This course has seen plenty of work in the past year are so. Course was greatly improved, most greens in really good condition and some bare spots in fairway but overall good condition. All this said, play the course, great layout, beautiful setting. and friendly staff.
Still keeps improving!
Great improvement in overall conditions in just 2 weeks. Fairways, tees, and greens are all very good. Worth the trip.
Great Condition
The course and the fairways are in great condition I really like playing here is well shaded too great cause to play will recommend to anyone who likes a good course
Aerated greens and tees, but not bad
The greens were just aerated with a light top dressing of sand. Most of them putted very smoothly with medium speed. Fairways are starting to come in nicely. There is a lot of work being done on the course, including some tree removal to provide more sunshine on tees. In a few weeks of sunshine and rain, the course should be excellent.
