Good Course for the Price
I like this course, short but some challenging holes and fast greens. Worth the money.
Home Course
I have played here ever since 1990. I love this place. Lots of slope on this course. Angles to the pin are forgiving at times with a bad shot. Greens are unpredictable but well kept so it's a new experience each time. Great course to take your amateur friend or your scratch golfer friend to.
Solid Course
Course is definitely worth the money. A little short but solid.
winter golf.
Course in decent shape for winter. Greens were running pretty fast. Pace of play ok - little under 4 hrs to play a round on a Tuesday afternoon.
Great course
The course is great. I'm a member at MCC, but I love going to the city club, because it's a course that challenges my game while also rewarding it. The greens are slow, but they roll true. The fairways are very uneven but you can still play good. The service in the restaurant is great and I love their practice facility. They could flatten the range out a little. Overall it's a good course.
Well maintained, with fangs
City Club is a very fair test of golf. Elevation changes with pretty open fairways ask you to play every shot in the bag. Greens are protected well by the coarse design. With greens that are approachable and well maintained, 30-40ft puts are very make-able!
Played Two Rounds the same day....awesome!
Great course. I'd recommend this if you can find deals for $45 or less. Don't get me wrong, its worth the $50-60 normal round fee compared with other courses I've played in Atlanta. But I got this round for $25 plus they offered a replay rate of $20. I think it was due to the overcast skies that day but either way I can't wait to go back.
Greens were in really good shape. Course overall is in really good shape. And the GPS in the golf carts is always nice to have.
Great course
Every part of the course was in good shap. Nice course to play.
Aeration
Starter paced everyone off back nine first-I asked if front nine was being aerated before paying and was lied to-Back nine in great shape but front nine greens had aeration holes-No marshall,no beverage cart and starter let walk-ins ahead on turn at nine holes-very slow pace
pace of play sux!!!
3 or 4 groups on every hole. Spend your $ somewhere else.
People please repair your ball marks
It's a badge of honor to make a ball mark, please take a minute to fix it.
City Club Marietta
Lot of fun to play and staff was great. Makes you thing course management and club selectio
Great value
Found this on golf now for 20 dollars.... Great course for the price.
good conditions, but always oversold
Great mountain layout, not super long but still a good challenge. Well maintained. Biggest issue is that it's constantly oversold. Any good weather day will have you teeing off 1-2 groups behind and they'll still take walk-ins. Be prepared to wait on every hole. ~4.5 hours for a particular 71 6000yd course...
Hilly, beautiful and unique
Excellent green quality, beautiful scenery and some funky holes. Fun to play
Good course but too slow
Course continues to be in pretty good condition and an interesting layout, but often very slow play with no marshals to push groups along. Also, too pricey for what you get. Staff is excellent and friendly.
Marietta - Great Muni
Marietta City Club is a gem on the north side of Atlanta. I've generally played there twice a week for the last couple of months. It's almost always in great shape, the only issue is that being a muni, many people don't fix their pitch marks, etc. Also, weekends can get slow, but on a public course, that might be expected.
Overall, it's excellent, but a tad short. To me, this is only really noticeable on some of the Par 4's.
Worth the drive
What a pleasant surprise this course was!
I was skeptical upon looking at the yardages on the scorecard but it definitely played longer.
There were plenty of hills to contend with. The par 5's were a bit tricked up but overall the layout was nice.
Worth the drive
What a pleasant find this course was!
At first I was skeptical about the short yardage but it definitely played longer than the card.
There are lots of hills to negotiate. The par 5's were tight due to lack of land but overall the layout is solid. The conditions were good and the greens rolled nicely.
Forgotten Track
I played tis course a year ago, always wanted to go back found it challenging yet tamable, truly enjoyed the blind shots.
