great bang for your buck!
For the prices they charge on the island its a steal....course is "fun" not hard at all for a low handicap player and a really nice resort course....greens rolled really well....nice condition and for the money...can't beat the deal there!
Fantastic course! Excellent shape!
This course is in excellent shape overall. The greens are perfect and fast. Farways and tee boxes in great shape. There was a sign on the golf cart that said they had rejuvinated the bunkers and fixed some other problem areas. The course is fun to play. Great views, lots of wildlife. This is a course I would play again!
Great course
Great course. The greens were in great condition as the rest of the course was also. There were two in my group and they teamed us up with two more to make four to keep the pace of play equal to the rest of the people on the course. We played 18 holes and finished in just under four hours. The course had some long par threes and some really long par fives which made it interesting to say the least. I will be going back to play this course again vary soon and will recommend it to all my friends. Only down side is how far the driving range is from the club house and the rest of the course. Makes it hard to hit a few to warm up before going out to play.
Great Southern Charm & Hospitality
The staff was wonderful--helpful and attentive. The course is well-groomed and has some interesting holes, though not the most challenging I've played. That's nice for a Saturday round with a buddy to help lower the handicap a bit! Nicely landscaped with a "country club" feel, but not the country club price. I'll definitely play here again when I'm in the area.
Nice course. Thick wet rough.
Good value with course well maintained. Nice traps with tough rough.
Great experience - course and staff!
The course was in great shape. The fairways are full and the greens had a great pace. The tee boxes were a little spongy but lot of grass is always good.
Great Round!
Highly recommend Sea Palms! Great track, very enjoyable round.
Great beautiful course
Had friends in for the week and played 18. The course is very well maintained and beautiful location. No delay and we had great weather. Can't wait to do it again.
birdy
Disappointed. The price is to high even on golfnow with discounts. Either lower the price or overhaul the resort. Will not go back if price is over $20.
Island delight
A well-kept secret. The course has really been upgraded. Fun for golfers at any skill level.
Course was in great shape
The fairways are plush and the greens are true putting. Staff very friendly
Nice course!
Challenging course, local knowledge of a few holes would help with some tee shots, nice course and would play again for sure.
Great condition
Course was in great shape. Hardly anyone else playing
Playing in a Hurricane
You know your on the wrong golf course when you run into Jim Cantory of the Weather Channel! Hurricane Beryl was to reach land that night, but my wife and I had a 8 AM tee time. The weather and the course was beautiful that morning as we started out on #1, but when we came in on #18 3 1/2 hours later, I hit a driver and 3 wood and was still short on a short par 4 with 45 MPH winds in my face. Considering the conditions, the course was magnificent. We can't wait to play it again out of Hurricane season.
Sea Palms
While most golfers coming to the coast will want to play the Sea Island course, don't overlook Sea Palms. The course was in excellent shape. The bermuda rough was a bit tall for my liking, mainly because it is difficult to find balls that you know were not too wayward. This course puts a premium on shots down the middle. Not only does the island growth limit much of the left and right, but even if you are in grass the tree branches overhead will limit your shot selection to a lot of bump-and-run shots.
The course is not terribly long, playing to a par of 71. But it provides plenty of challenges beyond pure distance. Will definitely play again.
Horribly Unfreindly Staff
I went to play this course on a sunday with a freind and booked for 39 dollars through golf now. When we arrived i was initially suprised by how ran down the facitilities were. Dilapilated houses strewn along the course and a clubhouse and condos straight out of an Austin powers movie. Upon check in we told the front desk we had booked online through golf now. He promptly pulled up our reservations and asked for 59 a piece. I then explained to him that we booked on the app for 39 a piece and then showed him my receipt. He continued to tell me that the rate does not exsist and that i was basically lying. After arguing back and forth for ten minutes he finally gave me the rate of 39. After that i went out to my car to get my clubs to see the bag boy yell at another customer for asking him if he had found a club. It was honestly amazing how rude everyone was and ruined the experience. I would suggest to management to hire new employees. I shared the expereince with a few freinds and they had similar stories while playing at Sea Palms. Will not return.
We're sorry you had an unpleasant experience. Due to a computer glitch, the rate you booked showed incorrectly in our computer and this was the first day we recognized this as happening. We hope you will reconsider playing Sea Palms and maybe we can change your mind about our staff and the value for the money our course presents.

Great Value
Course is an interesting, challenging layout that is in very good condition. Plan to replay it this week. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality of the course. Driving range is very poor, but that is the only distraction.
Great Condition
Course was in best condition ( Tee through Green ) that I have known it to be in, in several years. Would recommend you play Sea Palms for a fun experience.
Greens and fairways in great shape
I was favorably impressed with the conditions of the course.
Great golf
I really enjoyed my experience here. There was a nice combination of different golf holes, from water holes, to wide open fairways, tight lies, doglegs, long and short holes. The final 3 holes provided a challenging stretch with length (from the tips) to end what isn't the longest of courses. Although shorter, there are a number of challenging but fun shots throughout the round, know your irons and get your distances from the tee for you will not always need your driver. Great course, good fun, can't wait to come back!
Wow!! Reading this is a real surprise, judging by the other recent comments which give us 4-5 stars across the board. We're sorry you were unhappy with the course but I want to know where you can find a course for the $20.00 you want to pay in the conditions we offer?
