Good value and well maintained
The course is very flat and represents only moderate difficulty with only a couple of holes where you are likely to find trouble. In good condition generally, they are currently working on improving the bunkers around the course, which will be good. I have no hesitation in recommending this good value course.
Best value on SSI
I have played here often for over a year now and the greens and fairways have been improved a great deal. The layout is fun, challenging but not punative. Good people in the pro shop and clubhouse. If you are visiting I highly recommend you play here.
Nice track. Worth the money
Nice big greens, thick ruff. Tee times are spaced well apart so you don't seem to see anyone.
Amazing course for the money
I enjoyed the course and the staff at Sea Palms. The course itself was a little challenging and fun.
Good Value
Beautiful course in a beautiful area. Played on a Sunday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all. Staff was very friendly. The only thing is the driving range is a 5-7 minute cart ride from the clubhouse, so if you want to warm up beforehand you have to drive out to the 9th hole and then drive back. Make sure you allow for this time if you plan on hitting some golf balls ahead of time!
Pretty course
I thoroughly enjoyed this course. It is pretty flat but has great bunkers and water on many holes. My girlfriend and I were pretty hot but for the middle of june it was nice
Interesting Layout
We played just after the greens had been aerated so putting was awkward, but the rest of the course was maintained well. The design was interesting with some true risk/reward holes.
good course
Good course, fun to play. Lots of doglegs, have to place your tee shot. Greens were good. Fairways were a little long, but playable. Staff was helpful.
Good routing
The course has 18 unique holes that blend together well.
The course has great greens.
The greens are quick but the fairways need work, they are very thin. The course is laid out well, hopefully they can get the fairways back in shape.
Good Value
I find this course to be similar to the Jekyll Island courses but with more of a country club feel. The course was in good shape, great facilities, great layout. If you can grab a "hot deal" I would definitely recommend it.
Beautiful setting with great play for one who is not a great golfer!
Enjoyed the course and appreciated the friendliness of everyone!
great for the price
good course.. Nick is a great guys and the guys at the carts all great !!!!
Sea Palms
We loved the course, first time that we played at your course. My wife and I have lived on the island for a year and primarily play on the courses in Jekyll. The rates are a little cheaper. Your tee boxes and greens are super, but the fairways need a little attention. We enjoyed the course. Maybe run some more specials during the week, so we can play more here on the island. We spend money at the restaurant, too.
We get alot of guests from out of town. So with some specials you would benefit with us, cause we do take in more than just golf.
The course was in good condition and offered a number of challanges.
The course is ideal for the cost of play and offered challanges that the average golfer could apprecialte
Smooth greens.
I have played here earlier this year and since then the fairways are filling in and greening up. The greens putted great! The greens are large except for a couple of holes. The fairways are wide but include enough hazards to make hitting them important to score well. The course was not crowded the day I played and our group had a great time.
good value.....with GolfNow
Convenient, not crowded, straight forward. Enjoyed the play.
Fast Greens
The course layout is challenging and fun with the right mix of water hazards and risk and reward holes. The fairways are dry and not spongy. The greens are very quick and extremely challenging.
Tough Course
The greens are challenging and water hazards are frequent. Still was fun to play. They are working on the course it seems. But overall the tee boxes, fairways, and greens are in good shape.
Course should be in much better shape for the $$ they charge retail
The courses are not kept well, the people at the front desk have no bedside manner, or are bi-polar at best.
