About Mauna Lani, from Auberge Resorts Collection (Hawaii Island)
Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection, is located on the Kohala Coast of Hawaii Island's west coast north of Kailua-Kona. The resort is home to two 18-hole championship golf courses at Mauna Lani, the North and South courses, as well as a WikiWiki short course for casual rounds. The Auberge completed a $200-million reimagination of the property in 2020. The resort has more than 300 guest rooms and suites, plus a limited number of bungalows. The greater Mauna Lani development has over three miles of Big Island beachfront. There are five open-air restaurants at the resort featuring locally sourced dishes and items. There is an abundance of outdoor activities to partake in on both land and sea, and the SurfShack is a hub of activity that has everything from board rentals to yoga classes and scuba. Five 4,000-square-foot bungalows are also available for rent for larger groups, featuring two bedrooms, three baths and a private swimming pool and spa.Facts

Must Play on Big Island
Truly spectacular setting. Played North Course the day before and this also had amazing views but South course has spectacular holes with amazing views. Generally very playable off the tees although I had a good driving day. Played with my wife who is a good 18 handicap and she loved it and very playable. I truly think this is a must play. Use GOLFNOW. Saved almost $100.00 for the two of us compared to price on the course website. Spent it on some golf shop goodies!
Excellent Afternoon
After playing Mauna Lani - South 25 years ago, it was time to try the North course. The staff was very friendly and allowed us to tee off a half hour early since there was little traffic. The course was in excellent condition, rough not very difficult and greens in good shape if not a bit slower than I expected. Typical upscale resort conditions. There was moderate difficulty which increased the last few holes as the winds picked up considerably. Only one hole finished beautifully by the ocean with the rest winding through condos or lava fields. The price was higher than necessary (it is Hawaii after all) . This was a one and done event. No need to play again.
Beautiful course.
An amazing course with beautiful views of the ocean. Greens are tricky to read, fairly quick...a little firm, possibly dried by the extremely high winds today. Combination of manicured fairways and unforgiving lava roughs made for an interesting round. Drivies in the fairway got a lot of extra roll but if you hit the lava, you are toast. Staff was great. Pace of play was good probably because the nasty wind kept people away today.
Stunning
This is probably the most beautiful course I’ve ever played. Even the practice area was very well maintained. The fairway were beautiful and the greens rolled nicely.
Great track
Great layout. Excellent conditions. Greens a little slow. A couple great scenic holes by the ocean. One of the best resort/public courses on the island. Will definitely play it again
Fantastic Course & Views
A must play golf course when staying on the big island. This course will not disappoint.
Wiki course
Everything about it was great. Staff was friendly and helpful, course was fun .
First time
Layout is very narrow and punitive, course was in excellent shape, staff was superb. Course knowledge would have been very valuable
