Good value
Pros. Overall nice set up and well maintained. Nice varied layout. Challenge appropriate for all levels
Cons. Range balls not free, charge for a rider, gravel bunkers
Hade a Nice Time
I took a friend and we wanted to play a more open course and Waikoloa Village met our needs. We had a great time. Play slowed up at times but only for 5 or 6 holes. It gave us time to admire the beautiful vistas.
Fun Course
Save some gas for the 18th. Great staff and don't forget to stop at Johnny's for a Margarita after friendliest staff on the island
Great Value
Beautiful day except last two holes with a two club wind.
Apparently the sand will not stay in the bunkers so small pebbles are used.- not appealing.
Saturday Golf?
Can’t believe the golf shop put groups of five
Players out on a Very Busy Sat. Not only that but
They couldn’t play golf! Resulted in a 4.5 hr. Round
on a course I always play in 3.75.
Need effective Marshall on the weekends!
Great course
Pace of play was fantastic. The starter did is job . I was a single player with my wife sharing the cart. He let us go before a group of 8 local players. I played in 31/2 hrs . Greens were quick enough . Layout was correct. Just surprise about the sand traps who have little stones instead of sand. I played few few time and it was ok. Great time on this course
Smoke rising from Mauna Loa in the background
Loved seeing a bit of Mauna Loa erupting in the background. I paid for my wife to ride and the time she had and the company she provided made my day. Weather was perfect and staff was nice.
Great Layout, Pace of Play poor!
Course layout great - Robert Jones Jr design. Course conditions were slightly below expectations. Pace of play very slow with several 5-somes on a Wednesday! No amenities on course.
Very reasonable
Greens are in great shape but some of the fairways and rough have damage from the nenes. Nice layout.
Course can and did play extremely slow with a group a few holes ahead having 2 open holes in front of them and no marshals. Still if you can get a good price its one to play.
Slow play
Typical public course
They don't care about pace of play just give us our money and hack away
Back nine was faster
Cheaper than other courses but was priced closer to its playability
