Nice course and scenery.
Played the Kings and Beach nines. Both were great. Nice scenery. Some greens were recently aerated but still in good shape. Nice 19th hole. A great deal for guests of the Hilton.
Greens under repair
Would have been a beautiful
Round but the greens were that of a municipal course in a dry climate. They airated 2 weeks ago and they are dry with bare spots still.
Do not recommend currently.
Horrible course amenities
The course layout was nice. We played the lake and the kings course. The scenery way beautiful but the greens had divots that weren't repaired. There wasn't a ranger regulating the pace of play. We were stuck behind a group that was 5 putting anf the while round took over 5 hours. The beverage cart didn't come by til the 15 hole. They say there's only 1 beverage cart for 36 holes. I don't recommend this course. Mauna Lani is far superior for a similar price

This course is very disappointing. Course was dry, greens were diseased, carts and cart paths were in terrible shape.
Beach/Lake Courses
Unique layout, hole 6 on the ocean did not disappoint. Greens/bunkers in rough shape, everything else well kept. Worth playing if staying in Waikoloa. Great warmup/range area (included).
Highly Recommend
My wife was at one of the resorts for a conference and I have some time play. I only played 9 holes and needed some clubs. They had my cart ready, with water in the coolers and the clubs on the back. I went to the driving ranch and the ranger was very friendly.
I played the beach 9 (I think that was what it is called) The hole on the ocean was beautiful. since no one was behind me I took my time and just soaked in the beauty of it all.
Needs work for the price
Front desk lady was cold and robotic, not friendly at all. Starter was very polite.
Fairways were brown, for $230 I was expecting something more like Manu Launi which has great fairways.
Too many tourists letting their kids treat the course as a driving range, no marshal to keep the pace of play up.
Don't waste your time or money.
Don't waste your time or money. Most of the bunkers were unplayable. Bunkers that were playable had about 1/2" of fine gravel and hard pan. Greens were bad. Bare spots all around. Staff unfriendly. No sandwiches or dogs on beverage cart, just snacks.
