Only took me 30 years! Photo submitted by rjhmu on 11/04/2012
Excellent conditions. Some easy holes and some challenging enough to make your play very inteeeesting
The staff is the best, very accommodating . We had a fun and competitive round. Of course we'll be back,
Nice course at Eaglewood
The Eaglewood Resort golf course is nicely laid out. Each and every hole provides an interesting challenge. The strange thing about the course is the fact it is short;however, do not let that fool you with its difficulty. Be prepared to use each club in your bag. Would highly recommend if you have not played. Thank You Eaglewood for the fun experience you provided. Angelo D
Hidden gem
Great short track with several challenging holes. Older course but in great shape. Nice restaurant and pro shop. Tucked out of the way.
Nice course. Good value
Didn't expect much our first time out here with such a value rate. Very pleasantly surprised by all aspects. Pace was great for an afternoon time. Course in excellent condition. A little tight but plays fair. Staff welcoming and helpful. Glad I found this value and will be back.
Short but interesting
Enjoyable course. Many short par 4s that help with your short game if you can drive it close. Pace was good although the twosome in front of us had no concept of playing at a reasonable pace. I've played here many times and its always in great shape. Elevated tee boxes make driving the green on 270-290 yard par 4s that much easier.
Coures conditions
Greens were in great shape
Short, slow when crowded
The course is nice, about 6K yards. The first few holes just go out and back form the clubhouse so it gets backed up quickly if busy - we waited probably 10-15 minutes per hole for the first 9.
The course was in good shape, it's packed in tight so I hear more "four" in this round than I'll hear all season. All this being said, it's nice - I'd say worth $35-40 riding - don't walk it's slow enough. It's called a resort - don't understand who would go to resort by o hare airport but...would play again if I got a deal.
It's Early ...
Although we paid a reduced rate thru GolfNow - given that the greens have been recently aerated and somewhat carelessly top-dressed, the rate should have been reduced even further. GolfNow really should note when such conditions exist - we didnt find out until we got there.
Nice Resort Course
Course short, but greens were undulating and increased the challenge of the course.
This course was fun to play
The course was in good shape for being mid April. We had a foursome in front of us that played real slow , the ranger took care of that . Overall had a great time, would recommend it !!!!
Excellent course
One of my favorite courses never disappointed!
Short but fun
70 degree day in November brought out the masses. This caused the course to play slow as much as the drivable par fours. It's a fun drive, wedge, putt design which could really use more TLC to the greens. Greens were slow, bumpy & inconsistent. Would have really been ticked off if I paid the rack rate but thanks to golf now I didn't have to.
Delightful golf
If you enjoy golf friendly courses, this may be the one for you.. Short enough to be friendly challenging enough for the more experienced.. All in all a good course with decent greens and a layout
Power Rankings Top 20 List
Great Course With plenty of Hidden Challenges & Blind tee shots. The greens played Fast on Front but much slower on the back as my score clearly indicates we got hot deal but the regular price wasn't a reach. For the price I will rank this course #9 in my Dupage/Will county power rankings.
Great course, great price
Love playing this course whenever I can. It's always in great shape and you can't beat the price either on or offseason. Got a bit crowded on a couple of the holes, but the layout is enough to break that up. Definitely recommend for golfers of all ages
Greens
Generally a good course...BUT... Had major issues with how poor the greens are ....fairways are decent...greens are the worst I've ever played on.
Short Course / Priced More Than Value
I played this course as a last minute tee time on a Sunday. I was one of maybe 6 groups that I could see, so pace of play was great. Greens where inconsistent in length. I paid $57 and believe it should $45 for what this course offers.
Love this place!
Tucked away, I hate to write this review, afraid people will find my secret course! It's a shorter track but still challenging. Plenty of bunkers and enough water to keep you honest. Carts are nice and well maintained (no GPS). If the greens were nicer my review would have been 5 stars across the board!
Nice Layout, needs some work
A short, sporty course, even from the tips. We may play it a couple of times each year based on a good goflanow deal, because we don't feel it's worth the normal rates. The condition of the greens were terrible this last trip. Not sure if this was some disease, or having to let them grow out. Slow and lumpy. Besides that we like the layout and you kind of remember the holes as opposed to those courses where all the holes seem the same.
Nice course....bad service
The course itself was nice and not to intimidating for newer players. Some short par 4's....would play again. At the turn there was nobody to get a snack from. Also after our round we thought it would be nice to catch a bite to eat. We sat in the clubhouse at a table for 15 minutes and nobody came to our table with menus or to take our order.....
