Horrible Pace of Play
Rushed by the starter to the tee 15 minutes before tee time only to wait on literally every single shot. Teed off at 4:10 and barely finished 16 holes in over 4.5 hours before there wasn’t enough daylight to finish. Ranger needs to be on the course telling groups to skip holes if they fall behind. Completely unacceptable to not finish when teeing off at 4:10p. Cannot recommend anyone play until that changes.
Challenging course
The course overall was in good shape. The tee boxes were a little chewed up, but the weather has been very hot. The sand traps were fairly hard - I think they need to get more sand in them.
Good condition, but what happened to the bunkers??
I have played here through the years. The course is challenging from the Black tees since you have to be able to shape the driver or hit 3 wood but leave a longer 2nd. Greens are receptive, fairways were running but the bunkers are brutal. We have had borderline drought conditions and days with temps in the 90s and this place has washed out bunkers with no sand and then there are puddles in the bunkers. 79 bucks for a weekday rate means I won't be back unless I catch a deal. I love the staff, but let's go Superintendent and grounds keepers.
Enjoyable round of golf
The course is good for all skill sets, from weekend golfers to regulars. The back tees made the course more challenging and more fun. Fairways are not overly generous which means you can’t make too many miscues or else!
Par 3s were varied and seemed to all have water or some other obstacle to mess with your head.
Glad I played this course again and look forward to the next one.
A fabulous day of golf
Everything went perfectly. All staff members were highly professional and helpful. No delays on the course, thankfully. A very interesting course!
Long long day.
First time playing the course. It was interesting since the parking lot is shared with a Hilton hotel. The course was in good shape. However, the layout is a bit cramped and the fairways and even the greens was within shot distance from other tee boxes. Probably the only reason that will keep me from returning is the horrible pace of play. I happened to play at a peak time, and I never once saw a ranger. Also, they did not have a starter at the 1st tee so people were teeing off whenever they wanted. At the 12th tee there were 3 groups waiting. The group in front of me got frustrated and started skipping holes which made the pace of play even worse.
Not worth the $
Course is beatiful and well manicured. But for the price of $75 not worrlth it. Especialy to have someone driving into you bc the tee times are overbooked
Great track
Course was in great condition, my wife and I played with two younger fellas and they wanted to play from the tips, so we did.
Willow Crest
Great course, difficult greens & fabulous condition
