Not a course worth visiting
Super slow pace of play. No ranger. We had to call the clubhouse to have them send someone out to get after slow groups. We had 3 4somes all waiting to tee off on hole 11 because of the pace. The staff member who came out basicslly told us "there is nothing I can do" to which I replied "how about you nicely ask the slow groups to pick up their pace". Seems simple enough. The fairways were over watered (no rain for the previous week and our shoes sank into the turf at 10am). Doubt I will ever play there again. I was super bummed out by the experience. Way over priced for what you get.
Beautiful
The course is beautiful and the condition reflected how well the management is doing. Good course
Great value
I think this is one of the better courses in the area. Played on a Saturday afternoon for $40 with cart thru a hot deal on Golf Now. Definitely a bargain for this challenging layout. Course has a great variety of different holes and is unique with six par 3's. The greens are large and well bunkered and are true and fast, which is how I prefer them. The course was in excellent condition and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. A joyful experience with a private country club feel.
Sand Traps
The course was in really nice condition with the exception of the sand traps. Rather the no sand traps. More pebbles than sand. Get some sand or lower your standard rates!
Okay but a contrived and tight design
Unfortunately I just haven't cared for this golf course since it was built. It doesn't fit my eye and the holes are packed in tight and it's just way too claustrophobic in places. It's an expensive resort course that's not set up for resort golfers - 130 slope from the whites and plays far longer than the 6058 listed because in many instances your shot is all carry over a sand trap to the green.....and by the back nine that starts to get pretty "old." The greens are extremely speedy some perfect others have some issues especially the par 3's and will only hold well struck irons. 3 of flag positions this day were in places that were completely unfair and definitely slowed play for afternoon golfers. Several tee boxes are not even close to level. Fairways and rough in excellent shape except this course over waters their fairways consistently and you don't get much roll out. Sand traps are well maintained....so if you like to play in sandboxes this is a course for you. The course surprisingly was pretty dry but don't play this track after a decent rain....it turns into a complete swamp trust me. No range - nets with mats to warm up. Decent practice green and another practice green with small cups but not enough slope on either to get a feel for some of the severely breaking downhillers you might have to fend with. Resort with beverage cart, halfway house by the pool and a post golf grill - all prices extremely expensive....not ballgame prices but close. Club sandwich I had in grill was average at best with soggy fries. Nice locker room with showers.
The course design is really contrived (really packed in golf holes) and while the green sizes are large you're penalized severely if you're on the wrong side of the green or in the fringes and good luck on several holes when the flag is in the front over one of the far too numerous sand traps on this course. Pace of play was fine for us but the group that teed off directly behind us was at least 4 holes from finishing when we finished....and we played in just under 4.5 hours with an 830am tee time Friday morning. 3.25 stars in my book and I only play here when the price is right - ie someone else pays for it....and this is the closest 18 hole course to my house!!
It's a pretty course but I can't recommend it. Nice conditions but very expensive and any place where parked cars, school yards, streets and houses are definitely in the line of fire for the casual golfer it's tough for me to get excited about it.....it's a good all carry test but only if you constantly keep it on the straight and narrow and have really good local knowledge of course and green sites to avoid short siding or facing an impossible shot.
4 hours to play 12 Holes
Liked the course. Play was excruciatingly slow. Left after the 12th when we were backed up 2 holes.
Fantastic Place to Play
I will agree with what the starter told us; it is the gem of the western suburbs. The course is apart of a hotel and you can get special rates when you book with them. The course has something like 6 par 3's but it doesn't lessen the quality of the course. For the middle of summer, the course was well kempt and beautiful. The holes and fairways are close together, but the landscape separates them well and the electric carts are nice and quiet. The tin cup bar is well stocked and the staff if friendly and the proshop has everything you'd need and more. If you happen to be around the area, especially if you're staying at the hotel, go play a round. You won't be disappointed.
Excellent course
Par 70 with 6 par 3s but you don't even notice. All are very challenging. Par 4s and 5s are long. Fairways and greens in excellent condition.
Beautiful course
I BELONG TO A C.C. AND THIS WAS EVERY BIT AS NICE A COURSE. Well kept, nice greens and playable course. I was really surprised a public course was this great.
Great course, well conditioned, super friendly
We played on a Wednesday afternoon in 3:15 hours for a twosome, so pace of play was amazing. Very well conditioned, tee boxes, fairways, greens, everything. Bunkers were a little inconsistent but fine. I really enjoyed the layout as well, which had a little of everything. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. I would definitely play again and recommend to anyone.

Beautiful and fun course. Plenty of trees and water to test all levels.
Only one issue, the ball cleaners smelled like manure so bring alternative ball washing
Great value w/interesting layout and challenging greens
Nice collection of longer par 5s and challenging par 3s. Bunkers could use some work but otherwise good early season condition.
Well maintained. Classy people on the course playing
Can't wait to return
It was almost off-season and windy, but high skies and nice. Some holes are long; most are tricky. Nice test. Not what I would call a resort course.
