On green of 5th hole of Willow Crest Photo submitted by u642535502 on 09/08/2020
Tremendously Slow Pace of Play
Willow Crest would do well to place a marshall or two on their course. Group in front of us had an entire hole open in front of them. Mostly because they stood on the tee box chatting instead of hitting the ball.
Very poor experience. Will not be back!
Check-in needs to improve
I paid inside Clubhouse one hour before tee time. I asked if I needed a receipt, reply was "no."
I was asked three times if I paid, twice by the starter. He called to confirm second time.
I was informed my tee time was moved up 9 minutes. This was a problem because my playing partner was due to arrive a few minutes before original tee time.
Good course and friendly staff
We played on a Saturday in the late afternoon, the place of play was very good , great layout with a lot of trees and water.
The greens are in fair condition and very slow.
The pace of play was very good played 18 in 4 hours.
The starter and woman in the Pro Shop are very accommodating .
Recommend the course it is in much better shape than it was 20 years ago.
Happily disappointed
Was a good rate through tee off, but pace of play was awful, every hole on the back 9 was a 2-3 group backup, no rangers, was in a threesome group, a group of 2 behind us and a single behind them, and a couple walking in the group in front of the group in front of us. IMAGINE., anyway shot a 40 on the front 45 on the back, waiting on each hole didn’t help.
Great course, slow play on a Friday early evening
Pace needed to be faster, started at 5pm and didn't finish 18 before sundown with cart. Otherwise great course.
Entire golf experience was exceptional!
Staff greeted with eye contact and a smile from entering course, club house, throughout the day. Cynthia, refreshment cart prompt and friendly. Course great shape. Greens excellent. Some standing water near tees along cart path on some holes, but didn’t affect play. Pace was good. We enjoy playing this course very much.
Turn off the music
The young guys in front of us had music playing and the older guys behind us had music playing. I can’t fathom why people would listen to loud music while on the golf course. I suppose it’s part of the “always plugged in” mentality of the times. The youngsters were a little loud and coarse which was distracting. The golf course was in nice shape and we enjoy playing the course but not yesterday. C’est la vie.
Bad cooperation
Golf pass is a cheat, they take over the request for t time and put their name on I have to make sure that they didn’t not get my personal info MAnd they no way you can unsubscribe from their email list
High prices and slow play
$85 for a round and you would expect the course to be in better condition and for one of the many employees to try and keep pace of play. Were waiting on every hole to tee off and sometimes stacking up multiple groups. Also, price of a hot dog is more than Wrigley Field which is ridiculous.
