A bit out of the way, but worth the trip
We played the 18 hole course. It has a lot of open fairways, and except for a few dog-legs, the flag is visible from the tee box on most holes. On the day we played there was a moderate breeze, which given the openess of the course, didn't surprose me. Considering it is late winter, the course was in very good shape. It's not the most scenic or interesting course (might be prettier in the summer), but is has a very playable conventional feel, and is great for focusing on your game. I'll be back.
Medium Grade....nothing special.
Most holes are wide open but there is some slope to contend with. Irregular couse layout, two par 3's back to back then two par 5's. Playing the blue tees on the back nine will find some challenging holes. Greens are decent, almost no sand traps.
The greens, fairways, bunkers and rough were very well maintained.
This was my first round on this course, but won't be the last.
The staff was very friendly and the grounds were very well maintained.
The greens were true and smooth.
Not a long course, but well worth the trip to Mercer Co. The staff made us feel very welcome.
Great deal!
Booked on golf now and course allowed me access to all 27 holes. AWESOME!
