About Dale Hollow Lake State Park Resort
The Dale Hollow Lake State Resort Park's Mary Ran Oaken Lodge, built of limestone and timbers, sits high atop a bluff overlooking the 28,000-acre Dale Hollow Lake and surrounding woods. The private balconies of the 60 rooms showcase the cliffs, as does the restaurant. There are also 145 campsites and cabins. Popular activities are typical of the state park chain - basketball, biking, hiking, birding, boating (there's a marina with slips and rentals available), caving, eagle watching, fishing, horseback riding, swimming at an outdoor pool, mini-golf and golf on the longest state park course at 7,023 yards.Facts

Course has 100% responsibility to notify Golfnow of partial Course closers
Paid online in advance. Drove 1 hr to this out of the way golf course. Spent $20 on gas. Once I arrived I was told 1/2 the course was closed due to aeration. I understand this must be done twice a yr. The golf course has a moral obligation to inform golfnow so they can inform the customers. Totally unacceptable. I was Furious. GolfNow took care of me with digital coupons for future use. Thank you GolfNow for taking some of the sting out of my day.
One of Best Kentucky State Park Courses
Course is one of the best if not the best Kentucky State Park Course. Course is a haul to get to and not really around much. However, based on the rolling terrain and solid layout it is worth the effort to get there.
Little wet but very playable
Cart path only today. But course was playable. Roll for a day lie. Greens are playing nicely. Good play for the winter.
Greens are back baby
Course is in great shape for the winter season. Greens have healed 100% from aeration, and running fast as they ever have. Beautiful November day, couldn't have asked for a nicer way to spend the day.
Theives
Do not play there. Today I played there and when I got home they called me. They said I damaged their cart. That it looked like I flipped it over. What bs. Never hit nothing or flipped it over. Theives. Straight up theives. DO NOT PLAY THERE.
Always a great round
Hands down my favorite course in the area. If it was any closer to a big city it would be impossible to get on. Always a challenge but never because of the course conditions. Staff is always hospitable.
Beautiful fall golf
Course is a little weather beaten. But still worth the play. Joined another single which made it a great round. Course was pretty busy for a weekday afternoon. Lots of large groups but we played through a few and finished in about 4 hrs. Greens are still healing from aeration but very puttable. Fairways have had a lot of rain but only cart path only on #9. Weather was gorgeous a good day to be on the links. Course layout is a sure pleaser. A must play.
Greens coming back from aeration
Fairways still a little wet from excessive rain but only cartpath only on 2 holes. Greens are slow from aeration 2 weeks ago but still puttable. Weather is beautiful right now, the leave are changing colors. This course is a painting of beauty.
Over the hills!
Always enjoy this challenging course. Hills and hollows give it the character along with the quite and beauty.
Beautiful Place
Dale Hollow is one of Kentucky's State Parks Gems.
Well designed and very challenging. The course design requires you to hit every club and shot type in your arsenal. Course was in perfect condition. They do have some bunkers they are getting ready to redo but we were told in the pro shop that those were considered ground under repair. Staff was awesome and very helpful. Price is a super bargain. will be back as soon as possible
Great conditions, great deal on golfnow
Great conditions from tee to green. Freindly staff. New carts. Lots of elevation changes. A great challenging course. Best of the State parks in KY.
Great conditions, great deal on golfnow
Course is looking great from tees to fairways to the smooth undulating greens.
