General Burnside Island State Park

Very crowded had to play behind a group of 6, maybe overbooked and rates have gone up next time we will drive to Dale Hollow instead..

Compared to other courses in the area it’s way above average. Greens were little bumpy today. Zoysia fairways are incredible!

It's a great course I have never played in the mountains before. It was a great challenge but so very worth all the effort for sure. I w I'll play this course again before I go back home.

I was in the area for other business and was able to get a tee time at the last minute. I will say that I was absolutely impressed with the layout and condition of the course. The course was in top notch condition and the zoysia fairways were perfect and the tee boxes as well. The greens had just been punched but that did not take away from the enjoyment playing the course. There is no doubt the greens would be just like the rest of the course when they are healed and back to normal. The staff was very polite and pleasant and made me feel right at home here. I would recommend that if you want to play a very nice layout, this would be worth your time. It was definitely a hidden surprise that will have me coming back again soon.

This course is in good condition. It could be challenged in some holes. Overall it is a good course.

Course is really good except some bunkers that are under construction. Staff are always great and very friendly. Love this course

Beautiful greens and fairways. It is by far my favorite course around me. Staff are friendly, and serve food. They do have some bunkers with rocks due to future filling I suppose, but you can’t get much better quality greens and fairways.

The only negative I saw was some of the bunkers had gravel & some better sand was needed in others. I suppose that was what the objective was, to improve bunkers so all was good.
