Excellent course
Plus fairways, fast greens. 4 sets of tees makes it challenging for all levels.
Course was in great shape. Greens were great other than people not fixing divots! I truly enjoy playing here.
What a beautiful course!
Came to the Burnside area for a family reunion. Discovered the golf course by accident (looking at maps). Looked the course up online and decided to bring our clubs. So glad we did. We played 36 holes over 2 days and enjoyed it both times! Certainly one of the most beautiful and well-kept courses we have played! You do have to watch out for the wildlife - we had deer run across a fairway and came upon a family of wild turkeys on a cart path...
Great Course
Course was in great shape. From tee boxes to greens, truly a beautiful course. Staff was friendly and pace of play was great. Well worth the drive.
Please maintain the carts!
Great course, lots of fun. Only issue is the carts. Breaks were out on both in our group. Easy fix!
Burnside island
Great course on lake Cumberland in really good shape for this time of year greens were a little slow
Excellent
For the area best you can find. Plush fairways. Excellent greens and 4 sets of tees to challenge all levels.
very nice course
First time playing this course and I was very pleased. Course was very wet from rains the last couple of days, but it was playable. I wish this course was closer to home as I would make it one of my regular places to play. Greens were good, although a little slow for me personally. I believe that was more of an issue where the staff was not able to cut them before I played. Staff was very friendly and was able to work me in as I got there early. Avery nice golf course that is worth the drive for me and a great "hot deal" from Golf Now.
Burnside State Park Golf Course
Nice well maintained layout. Challenging holes. Would benefit from having a starter to regulate tee time starts to avoid back-ups. Allowing the next group to tee off as soon as the prior group clears from their tee shots creates back-ups in future holes - the waiting is not fun. Would be better to have groups wait at the first tee so that about 10 minutes have elapsed to avoid course congestion and provide a better overall playing experience.
Rain iut
Today was very cold and rainy. So I took a rain check and will play on another day. Burnside is like my home course. Condition is always great and a very enjoyable place to go play.
