Many great scenic views
Great course in our state park system. The course isn't very long even from the back tees but still challenging. All the par 3's are quite unique in length and visually. You even get to play alongside a distillery and even deer. Will definitely play it again. Left to many shots out there!
Great Course, Great Staff
A fun course with many high risk-high reward opportunities. The staff was top notch and the course was in great shape. My only complaint was the round took forever. I look forward to playing MOKH again soon.
Fun Day of Golf
Course conditions very good-weather excellent-after foursome let us play through on 3rd hole we had no hold ups. Very nice fairways
Always a Fun Course
This is my third time playing this course in almost as many weeks. It's a very short course, even from the back tees, but it's well laid out and makes you think about each shot you take. Lots of doglegs, undulating and tree lined fariways, and the greens have TONS of movement. There are several greens on this course that you'll be glad to make a solid two putt. Overall, I really enjoy it here and will continue going back.
An Enjoyable Outing
Like most courses this year, the course was cart path only when I played, due to the rainy preceding weeks. There were a few soggy spots in the fairway and standing water in a couple of bunkers, but overall the course was in good shape. There were several challenging holes, hard but not ridiculously so and though hilly, the walking was not exhausting even when the ball was a long way from the path. Pace of play was excellent - early morning, in a twosome behind two other twosomes, we beat the pace by almost an hour. I will return!
nice course has great setting
played 18 holes with my son . had a great time and course and staff was great.
Fun Course
Played this course four times during June and July and enjoyed every round. Course has a fun layout, which requires some shot making, but for the most part allows you to be aggressive off the tee box. The fairways were in good shape on 90% of the course, and the greens were in great shape. Some tee boxes could use work, but you get to use tees.
Great course layout
This was my first time playing at MY OLD KY HOME and it definitely won't be the last!!! The course has a great layout with great fairways to hit off of. It was well worth the 45 minute ride from my house in louisville.
Loved it
There had been a lot of rain the week before we played so we played cart path only and I did t mind it at all. The layout was great and a lot of the fairways were tight. Absolutely loved the scenery a long with the sweet smell the brewery beside the course put putting off. If you get a chance play this course!
A great place to play
Great last minute decision to play - due to storm the night before, half was cart paths only - beautiful & challenging.
Worth the Long Drive! To Bourbon Country!
I wanted to play in Kentucky this season. so I made plans to go to Bardstown Bourbon capital of the United States and play golf in the mountains. Not a long course from the back tees. Par 71. Just 6,385 Yards rating 68.6. This course has both nines some nightmare holes, and some holes that have rolling hills and I call resting holes. It has a lot of dog leg's here. The greens have patches and divot markers to which I fixed several here. The fairways were 80 % great, but had patches of dead grass in many. And the greens putted decent here. Not a hard course at all, I thought it would be much harder. again many holes lined with forest, but wide fairways here makes you afford mistakes and get away with them her. I liked the fact coming up hole 5, you could smell the bourbon from Evan Williams Plant. I holed out shooting a 39-40=79. And should of scored much lower. Play to the dog leg bens here, play management golf to score well from back tees 3. I enjoyed the Staff inside pro shop telling them I was from Wisconsin was welcomed. it threatened to rain all morning, and finally rained at hole 18. I liked this course. Was easy fun. Holes 14 to 18 made this course for me. Finally this course yielded some tuff holes.

Beautiful MetroPark Course
This course is not your typical MetroPark course. It's in very good condition and is quite serene and beautiful. The pro shop is recovering from a flood and is only temporarily impacted, but service is available and very nice and friendly.
If you are a long hitter, you will find that the course layout will have you relying on your 3 and 5 Woods vs your Driver from off the tee. My only complaint is related to Pace of Play - it was a bit slow. But, for the price and the beauty of the course, I would play again and again.
One of my favorites
As always the course is in great condition. 15 fairway is a little rough. Challenging layout with several risk reward scenarios!
Great course for the price
Enjoyed playing at this course. It was is good condition. The pace was slow but it was Sunday. The course layout is real nice.
Great Evening Round
I was very pleased with a perfect evening for golf. While I missed a few too many putts, the course was in great shape. They had some tough pin placements but I guess that keeps it fun. I only wish they had more to eat and drink in the pro shop. No complaints though, overall great experience.
Memorial Day treat
I had played this course once before a decade ago. It is still in very good shape and a nice challenge. The rain almost drove us away after 9 but the staff allowed us to come back and finish up our 18. Hope to back again soon!
Very.Very. Slow pace
Course was in decent condition. Greens were pretty fast and MOST fairways were nice. There was no water on the course until hole 16. Pace of play was horrific. It took me around 5 hours to finish 18 holes. Overall decent course for the money, just be prepared to have a slow day if your a fast player.
Fun Day
Aside from the fact the greens had been aerated the course was in gray shape considering the harsh winter. Weather was beautiful and groundhogs and other creatures scampered around. Very enjoyable
Nice course
A very enjoyable course. Course in good condition. Getting off on first tee a little chaotic, possibly due to frost, but a very enjoyable round.
really nice course
