My Old Kentucky Home State Park

The course was a fun course to play. There was good variety in holes. The fairway grass was in poor condition and the greens were slow and woolly. Maybe being Bermuda grass was the problem. This would have been a great course if the grass was better.

Our 4some had a great day and fun time, first time on this course for all of us. No driving range and the clubhouse closes early (6pm) but staff was great and course was beautiful. Greens were very slow on back 9.

...got tee time for three as a HOT Deal. We had played earlier in the year a couple of times. Course has bounced back nicely from the winter freeze. Fairways have now filled in and are very thick.

Fairways recovering from weather damage last winter, greens and tees showing some wear, but playability is still good. Clubhouse limited to hot dogs, soda, and candy. Course is largely wooded with hills and traps.

The greens were in great shape, but a little slower than I like. There were a few holes with issues in the fairway. My 14 year old son and I had a great time. We played mid afternoon so the course was not too crowded and we played in just under four hours. It's always an enjoyable round and a short drive from Louisville.

Great fairways. Some greens were average. Good tee boxes. Well groomed. Very friendly an helpful staff

For the most part greens in good shape and the fairways have come back from beginning of spring

The course was in above average shape compared to courses in the area. Well worth the short scenic drive. The price was cheap for this level of golf course.

Other than two fairways the course was in excellent shape.

The course was in "ok" condition. The fairways were in decent shape and the greens were decent as well. Its not a very challenging course, but still a good round. The price is fair I think for what it is. The only bad thing I have to say about it is that there is no driving range.

To be fair, weather was not good. Overcast and misty rain all round. But, there is nothing flat on this course, greens included. Greens are in good shape, undulating. Fairways are Bermuda, tight, and still coming in at this time. Sandtraps are well maintained. Snack bar is sandwich vending machines. Other snacks AND canned beer available. I will return , as I was guilty of poor course management. Great Fall Scenery, BTW.

course is in good shape other than 15 fairway, it is in awful condition, marshal would have been nice since twosome ahead of us liked to play 2-3 balls each on every hole and would not let us play through.....overall though a fun day on the course

This course isn't great but isn't terrible. Wide open fairways make it fairly easy. A few of the fairways were burnt up. Greens had several ball marks on them made it difficult to putt.

course was well kept and everyone was very friendly. Booked through Golfnow.com and saved about 10 dollars. Very well worth the money.

Although there were a few bare spots on some fairways and greens, the course overall was challenging (several par 4's over 400) and had a wonderful, scenic finishing 4 holes

The course is pretty good shape for the most part. There are a couple of holes that the fairway is still just dirt but that maybe due to the harsh winter we had in Kentucky! I would recommend this course to a friend.!

Very Beautiful and interesting little course. Bermuda Grass was still coming in but other than that it was in really nice shape . Sand traps in great shape, tree lined fairways and challenging doglegs and really unusual par 3's. Unbelievable greens---great shape and challenging undulations. Played 18 holes in about 2.5 hours since I was the first one out at about 8:30.

Awesome place to play. Great course with some challenging set ups. The fairways and greens are in great shape. Beautiful scenery!

We played this course last year and it was in great shape, however this year it is terrible. The tee boxes were mostly dirt with very little grass. The fairways had large areas of dead grass and one entire hole was 'cart only' because the entire fairway was nothing but dead grass.

I have never been disappointed with this course or the friendliness of the staff. My Old Kentucky Home Golf Course is a fun but challenging track and is the best value in the area. I strongly recommend it for all types of golfers!!
