Nice golf
Every thing was wonderful the course was in very good shape
great course, bad people
As much as I want too, I won't go into detail on what happened between the staff and I while at the golf course, just know that I understand the woman behind the counter has a job to do and protocol to follow, and that we had an issue getting out conformation due to the lack of service at the golf course, my issue is with how she treated us and that when she called her boss, she told her boss just exactly what she thought of us despite the fact we were only a few feet from her, she was rude from the get-go, She would have rather argued with us as opposed to help us... I'm not sure how someone with the complete lack of people skills that she has gets a job dealing with the public, but something needs to be done with her, again it's not what she did that bothers me, it's how she treated us... golf course was in great shape, couple little spots around the greens but nothing major... once they let you on you will really enjoy it
You will enjoy more each time you play it!
My husband and I love this course. Every hole is different. Beautiful views! It's very challenging, use irons off the tee on many holes.
PS take plenty of old balls the first time u play it!! :)
Set on top of a mountain with stunning views!
This was my first experience at this course. I found the course very challenging and had the bad experience of having cart path only due to rain the previous day. I will defiantly be back to tackle it again.
Course is set up like a pro course
This is a hard course, but a very fun course. It is like a pro course because you have to hit landing area's to be in shape for your next shot. I haven't played very many courses like this and I had a great time. Will return soon.
Late summer has hit.
most greens have areas on them where they have lost the green and have turned black. but those areas are not large, and there are enough good areas on the greens to place pins. in those good areas you could get a fairly smooth putt. I would say they rolled 9. Tee boxes and fairways were ok, they did have crabgrass growing on them. I guess you can see lack of state money to really keep these courses up the way that they should be. I got this on a hot deal, and I wouldn't pay full price this time of year. Maybe in the spring when the course is in the best condition it can be in.
Also this is mountain golf I would advise that you have plenty of balls, I even lost a couple and played fairly well.
Best Around
Words cant explain how nice this course is. I live in Ohio, and I have played the #1 public course in Ohio a number of times. Eagle Ridge reminds me of that course. The only diff between the 2 is that Eagle Ridge doesnt have the maintance budget that Longaberger has. Having said that, for the tee time deals that they are offering(not even on Red Hot Deals) I WILL drive back from Columbus Ohio to play this course. Its that nice.
Just go play it. You wont be sorry.
Challenging course, great value!
Great value, great location, friendly staff from the cart guys "below" to the pro shop staff! Bring plenty of balls, and your camera! #13 is simply amazing.
Beautiful, challenging, wild
How did such a beautiful course, in the middle of nowhere, come to exist? Every time I play here I am amazed at the natural beauty. It's worth the green fee just to see the countryside. All the holes have an personality. Some of them are cruel. Some are deceptive. Some are playful. When I last played here the greens were pristine. I played from the #3 tees (there are 5) and used a driver only once. A real treasure.
Beautiful scenery I mean beautiful
This course is a great course to play when you think your getting good it has everything you want has some good scoring holes and some very difficult holes heed to play no 3 tee box 1st time you play or rent a cart and drive the approximate
10 miles of wide concrete cart path you will be amazed of what you can do with a Holley terrain this course is absolutely beautiful worth playing
Awesome golf course, though, pretty, and fun
I've heard of this golf course for the past few years as being one of the best in this area, and never played it, so we decided to take a day and make the drive. It takes a little time to get too, for the simple fact that its so far up in the hills, but it's not real curvy roads, so it's not too awful bad. The course is short on the card, 6600 or so, from the tips (where I played, my dad a true 18 cap, played the 3s, which I would suggest for most average golfers) I only hit driver 3 times, because it is a positioning golf course. Ask the ranger for a cheat sheet if you have never been there. Greens are great, for September, the fairways were good. It is a tough golf course.... Bring a lot of balls, and good luck
