Gull Lake View Golf Resort
About Gull Lake View Golf Resort
Since the 1960s, the Scott family has transformed 2,000 acres in southwest Michigan into one of America's largest golf resort communities. Situated in the appropriately named Augusta, Michigan, near Kalamazoo and Battle Creek, Gull Lake View Golf Resort has become synonymous with affordable packages where golfers stay in comfortable villas to enjoy six different courses, all from different eras. The East and West courses were built in the mid-1960s and mid-1970s, with the two Stonehedge courses added later in 1989 and 1994. The family bought the Bedford Valley, a classic course known for hosting tournaments, in 1988 and then put the feather in the cap, debuting the linksy Stoatin Brae by Renaissance Golf Design in 2017. Those who fall in love with the experience can buy real estate in one of several neighborhoods.Facts

Very well kept
This is a great course. The layout is very nice and well manicured.I would definitely recommend. Great staff and very friendly.
bedford Valley
Great course -Beautiful scenery-Greens great-
Great Course but SLOW play
A great older course, in great shape, challenging but still fun. But it took 2:45 for the front nine and would have been a 5 hour round except we skipped two holes to get around a slow-playing foursome who wouldn't let us play through. No rangers. Disappointing.
Excellent course
Excellent course. Great condition. Wife and I both enjoyed playing.
Gull Lake View
Very nice course. Excellent condition
Great Layout
The course is in outstanding condition. The greens and fairways are nice and the layout is interesting and fun. Now for the bad. We played as a twosome following a twosome who were following a foursome. By hole 9 the twosome in front of us had fallen two full holes behind the foursome. They never acknowledged us much less offered to put us through. At the turn I complained. After looking over their tee time sheet they told us that play was on point and there was nothing they could do! They didn't care that we had actually teed off 40 mins before our scheduled time. They based pace of play on our scheduled tee time. It says right on their scorecard " Please allow faster players to play through". Simple golf etiquette! Also, The clubhouse has a very limited menu. The only hot food is hotdogs. You will be hungry after your 5.5 hour round so pack a snack:)
Decent Course
Gull Lake West looked more interesting
excellent track
I played 7/28/16 and the course only had a few other people on it. It was extremely well kept, and even saw workers diving around touching things up.
Great course
Course was on very good shape and the staff was very friendly.
pace of play
slower groups not letting faster one play thru with 2 or more holes open in front of them. What were the course rangers doing?
Favorite gull lake course.
Staff friendly. Great golf course. Michigan golf at its best. Would be nice if gull lake had a better food program. Would have stayed later if we could have dined at facility. I think they are missing on that opportunity.
Pace was ugly...
I'm a decent golfer....usually under 80....the pace was so ugly I coulda had breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seriously, I thought we might need flashlights....Made for such an ugly experience I will never again play such a nice course until early spring or late fall.
Terrible Course Management
Very poor pace of play. I called the clubhouse on hole 11 to ask them to send a ranger out as we were in a major traffic jam. The ranger did come out but did not fix the problem so we ended up leaving after the 12th and a 3 hour front 9. I love Gull Lake View golf courses but DO NOT PLAY ON FRIDAY OR SATURDAY, VERY SLOW!
Great Layout & Condition
One of the Gull Lake courses ( Stonehedge No. & So., Bedford Valley, Gull Lake View North & South)
North course is the one to play if you can. Always well maintained.
Only downside is that it is a very popular course and slow play can be an issue. Some people have never heard of the term "Ready Golf"!
Bedford Valley is the next course you should play of this group; you won't be disappointed!
Excellent track.
Large greens. Wonderful condition.
Great Day of Golf
Course in excellent condition even with the drought that is going on in the area. For a weekend the pace of play was good and we were able to enjoy a great day.
Stonehedge is a must plat course
Enjoyed this course for $19 hot deal but paying this course at regular rates would be worth it
Excellent course
Had an excellent game ! Played with a group of guys that had me rolling on the ground. Course was challenging for a mid handicapper. Tee box-fairways-greens all in awesome condition. Will definitely be going back.
A Great Course with An Even Better Staff
The course is always great, but the Staff, especially Wes in the clubhouse, make this place a wonderful stop in Southwest Michigan.
If you want a fantastic spring or summer golf vacation, this group of courses will make for a diverse and pleasant experience. Come visit, you will probably come back again next year.
Beautiful course-great setting!
Bedford Valley has an old fashioned layout with many tree lined fairways. The fairways are generous and in excellent shape. The greens were putting true but a bit slow. Playing from the gold senior tees made play more enjoyable because this is one of the longer courses in the area! All in all a very beautiful course with many challenges and a fair test of golf.
