Shanty Creek

The course was amazing. From tee-boxes too greens, it all looked great. The only downside was, the food was a little on the high price. Hotdog was $4.75 but no drink or chips. Nothing special about the hotdog. Other then that, perfect golf course.

If you haven’t played Hawk’s Eye, it’s a must

In Northern Michigan, Not a lot of Water shots

Some deep Bunkers though, Perfect fairways & Greens.....lots of Elevation changes 200-300ft

Great views & plenty of Wildlife.

I thought the value was good, We jumped on a Hot Deal, and got to go out as a twosome, Pace of play was no problem as the caliber of Golfers was good.....Staff was very friendly....You’ll love it

My friends said to play Hawks Eye so I Purchased the hot deal off Golf Now since I have wanted to play this course for the last three years. We played on a Monday morning and were able to play a twosome and play at a good pace for twelve holes. The foursome ahead of us really slowed down on the back nine but ended up quitting so we were able to finish on our pace. The course is outstanding and the greens very large and receptive. It will help to know the greens next time since they have lots of slopes and elevation changes

What a great course. Staff friendly. I was so impressed by this layout. Literally most of the holes could be their signature. Every hole was by itself and the elevation change was impressive. I would definitely recommend.

Enjoy the elevation changes, but keep your ball on the fairway for a fun round!

Had a great day . Like the layout and the course condition. $1.00 beer after also a great deal

I would have to say its the nicest and most challenging course I have played

Please read my previous reviews. Cedar is in great shape and they've taken out a couple of trees on the 18th to make the tee shot and hole more playable. One of my favorite courses....this course never gets old. Wonderful Weiskopf design and if you play this course a few times you really get to know the rolls bounces and speed slots. Highly recommend.

Had a lot of fun. Hilly, sand traps strategically placed. Some water hazards. Nice views.

Great layout of a course. Got an exceptional deal through Golf Now. Only drawback was that the greens were very slow like velcro. Otherwise very enjoyable

Amazing course to go out and test your skills, challenges off the tee box, challenging approach shots and putting is a tough one. Layout is beautiful but the course could be kept up a little better for the price. Overall great course and experience.

This is a fairly open simple pretty golf course. It doesn’t feel like it is punishing you yet has some challenging hills, bunkers and long par threes. Not much water around the course.

Loved it! Friendly staff and a great golf course! Could play it every day!!!

This course is better than you might think and def a good value. Greens are in great shape. Most slope back to front but grain is front to back. Prevailing hill always dictates the break. Very short 6k from tips.

Hawk's Eye is a tremendous value in NW Michigan. Always in great condition, especially this year with all the rain we've had. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Pace of play is never an issue. Highly recommend playing this course if you get the chance!
