Lutsen Resort

About Lutsen Resort
Lutsen Resort On Lake Superior sits where the Poplar River meets the largest Great Lake (also the second-largest lake in the world). The historic resort – home to lodge rooms, log cabins, townhomes, Sea Villas and Poplar River Condos - overlooks a large pebble beach of a secluded, private cove where swimming, kayaking and fishing are perfect summer past times. The Scandinavian architecture offers a special charm. Romantic dining comes courtesy of the Waterfront Dining Room. The resort fee allows for complimentary 9-hole pitch and putt golf, disco golf, shuffleboard, indoor pools and hot tubs, live music on the beach and nightly bonfires with smores kits available at the front desk. The scenic 27-hole Superior National at Lutsen is a “driver and a 7 iron” away from the resort.Facts

Awesome
Great place to golf and very scenic.Would play again.
Easier on the wallet using Golf Now. Would definitely play again.
Don’t hesitate to use Golf Now to play here. I saved $57 CAD using the app and we had a great round. Go Play.
The course has something to offer all levels of golfers
Our group had golfers of mid handicap to beginners. The staff was respectful and understanding of everyone’s skill levels as well as just wanted everyone to have a good time. The canyon 9 was by far the nicest back 9 of holes I’ve ever played, especially along the river on holes 14 & 15. I will be returning to play more in the future.
Northern Gem Among Minding Country
Nestled in the upper portion of the state along Lake Superior and just south of the Canadian border, sits this gem of a gold course.
27 holes with champion level difficulty on most holes but also room for novices to play as well.
Range was nice, but had a slight deloft on the clubs for the days hitting area. Otherwise pretty good. Range balls are not free but not expensive either.
Beautiful practice green with plenty of holes to practice on. Fast and firm but holes could've used a change as there was some grass growing into the cup on the edges slightly.
Carts were gas, peppy, comfortable enough, in good shape, extra storage above in the front corners, and GPS in the cart.
The course was challenging but also easy if you can keep it in the fairway. Tees, fairway and were all beautiful.
This is a fabulous course but living 4 hrs away, even with the beautiful vistas, and Betty's Pies; it's a bit far for just golf. But, if you're within an hour or so (Duluth) go check it out.
Wow, what a course/day!
First time playing this course for both wife and I. Retired couple from Twin Cities. Just average golfers with some physical limitations but we love to golf. It was a perfect day for golf and the course was in exceptional shape. We play many nice courses in the TC/Wisconsin area, and this course would be at the top of the list. Just wish we were closer to play more often.
Greens fee
Course was in good condition considering all the recent rain. Still think price is too high and golf now discount is too high.
Views and challenging track
Came back to our fav course — this is one of our favorites. Not just for the views but challenging putting.
Naturally Superior!!
Pristine lush green fairways and greens
River rushing from recent rain.
Very scenic and enjoyable experience on River and Canyon 18
Beautiful scenic course
Love this course. It overlooks Lake Superior with beautiful streams flowing thru it.
