Avoid on the weekends.
This is a fun course with a very unique layout. Great views on some holes. I just can’t get over the fact that it took us 5.5 hours to get through 18 on a Saturday. We waited on every single hole. It’s really hard to enjoy a round of golf after you’ve paid that much to sit all day. There weren’t any rangers enforcing pace of play for the groups of 6-8 that we could see ahead. If it wasn’t like the Wild West with groupings, I’d probably drive out there (I live an hour away) more often because it really is a fun and challenging course. Maybe try it on a week day? I guess I should have known it was going to be a long day when we pulled into the parking lot and saw 6 carts waiting on hole 10.
Bring a good supply of balls as there is plenty of trash and water to navigate.
The Bridges
I love the course design. Overall, you have to bring your A game to score well here. I was not prepared for the biting gnats. While playing the last 9 I thought the gnats would carry me away.
The course was overbooked and I had to wait to play each shot, each hole. It took me 5 hours to complete my round.
The course layout is so unique that I would recommend this course to my close friends.
Poison oak
Fun course but it has A lot of poison oak on this course. Lost 3 balls that I could see due to them being in the middle of a big patch of poison oak.
Challenging Course
I find this course to be great. I also find it very challenging. Course management is key in my humble opinion. It's of little fault of their own but the divots do get a bit intrusive. Otherwise I have little to complain about. I will continue playing there.
Customer service lacking
Pulled up to bag drop and nobody to direct you where to go! Pro shop playing on their phones or chatting with other coworkers !
Bartender and cart girl were great!!
Don’t bring non golfers
My and my friend’s fiancées wanted to come with and enjoy the day while we played a round. The course wasn’t too full and we thought we would just pay for and extra cart and be on our way. Oh no! Rude guy in the Pro shop said it wasn’t an option and then went back to the phone. Had to buy another green fee and had our tee time push an hour so our wonderful ladies could enjoy the day with us. Would have happily pushed back the tee time but $70 dollars seemed out of order for our additional non players. Course was great, challenging, and in great shape! Just left a bad taste to be over charged for a simple request.
A little slow
Things were a bit slow but not extremely bad.
It took us 4.5 hours.
The course was in good condition
