Played on a Hot Deal as a 3some in the early afternoon. Very good value. Course was in very good condition although there were a few greens that had some bare spots. Greens rolled well and were moderate in speed. Some bunkers still needed work after the recent storm, but most were OK. Overall course was pretty dry after the recent rain and was 90 degrees, not cart path only. Course wasn't very busy and we played the front 9 pretty quickly. Caught up the a couple 4somes on the back and waited on every tee box. Still played the back in around 2:10 and the entire round in 3:40.
Rain Out
We rained out and no one answered the phone in the pro shop all day. Still no way for me to get a refund even though they wouldn’t let us play.
The bridges is a must play
First time at this course, and wow... super nice, difficult, and beautiful.
Bring extra balls
The state's only Arnold Palmer design serves up golf's version of hopscotch. Almost every shot requires a forced carry over water or wetland, followed by a cart ride over a wooden bridge (there are 21 of them) to swing again. It's honestly the first time in 25 years of reviewing golf courses I had to buy golf balls in the pro shop after the round. It's a solid course: Just consider yourself warned. Either bring your A-game or extra ammo.
Tough course
Tough course. Look at slope ratings. Can play long and there is woods, water, bunkers, elevation changes. Electric carts with GPS. Pace of play well. Conditions are average. Hollywood casino is right there..
Slow play and average conditions.
No course marshall on a sunday. Group of 6 guys in front of us drinking, littering beers cans and horsing around all day. Layout seems dated/short, but there were some views on a few holes. Bad areas on some of the greens and several poor condition tee boxes. I don't think this is worth the 1 hour drive and cost for me.
Casino still too cheap to get a starter
Great course layout, decent pace of play,Good condition, except for a few 'chewed greens'.Still no starter, which makes starting a free for all..
Nice course
Beautiful course. They had recently punched the green so they were a little rough. Restaurant was closed at 4 PM when we finished our run so that was a bit disappointing.
Good condition
Greens rolled well. You could see they were addressing a few bad spots. Rest of course was in good condition. Got caught behind a very slow 3-some that finally let us through on the 11th hole. No Marshall to move them along. Very hot but had a mercy cart that found us 4 times which was excellent. Value was okay but maybe a little on high side for a Monday. Overall Good experience and would recommend.
Course is challenging but fun! Staff was super friendly. Course was in good shape and drained great from rain
