Bridges Gulf Coast
Nice course but put away the driver. It is a shot placement course. You can hit 5 irons to drivers on the tee box. The greens were slow because they were punched about two weeks ago. Everything was in great shape.
Adventure
Course in great shape very challenging and fun to play
Fun course to play but very challenging for a golfer with 4 years experience. Have at least a dozen balls available
But will play again soon
Arnie would be sad
This was the first time playing the Bridges in over ten years and to say the course was in poor condition is an understatement.
- the tee boxes were choppy and in need of some leveling.
- the fairways were okay
- the bunkers were a joke. Poorly maintained and some were actually collapsing
- the greens were poor. To many rogue grasses present and large bare spots
- overall maintenance of the course has been greatly neglected. Not worth the $95 greens fee we paid on a Sunday afternoon. There are too many other great courses in the Biloxi area you can play.
Unique Arnie Course
Great golf course that is very different from most. Each hole takes advantage of some part of the coastal, salt marsh terrain. There are truly many boardwalk-style bridges to get from hole to hole. For the season, fairways and greens are in great shape. Course is challenging but fair.
Too many tee times sold
The course was way too packed. We waited 10 to sometimes 20 minutes on tee box only to have a line of carts behind us. Play was slow so we felt rushed the whole course. There was never a time we didn’t have other golfers in front and behind us.
Tough but Fun!
Conditions were good overall considering the time of year. Looks like some tee boxes are getting a makeover and there were some patchy areas on the green. Pins were placed in sections that were in good shape. It was our first time playing the course and it was tough to gage shots without a cart GPS. You really need to know where to hit it...you won't be able to chunk your way around...too many forced carries that favor solid ball striking. We loved the layout and the pace of play was good...wife and I played as a twosome in a little under 4 hours even though we were waiting on two other twosomes in front of us.
Beautiful Course
It’s a beautiful course with great views and a great staff. The greens are in bad shape for a course of this stature. Several other top courses on the coast have much better greens.
Great course
Fairways were full in the dead of winter. Greens were quick but rolled true. Sand bunkers a little thick but consistent throughout the course. Not too long of a course; great for the average handicapped golfer.
Tough for first time playing
Fun layout, if you strike the ball well. There's not much forgiveness on this course. Challenging course for average or higher handicapper. You can't have a bad day striking the ball, or you'll go through a lot of golf balls. First time was a rough experience for my scorecard.
5 is too many!
There were about 3 or 4 groups that had 5 players which held the entire course up.
I quit after 9
