Great round
I would recommend this course. It was in great shape and was a fun course to play.
Great Links course
Course was very challenging. Hit it anywhere but the fairway and you'll pay for it. Had a blast.
A must play
Beautifully maintained course. Very challenging but so worth it.
Excellent
One of my favorite courses in the greater Memphis area. Course was in excellent condition, with the best greens around. Pace of play was 3 1/2 hours for a threesome on a Saturday afternoon. Fantastic staff, with a fair price for the course value. Adm already playing again in just a few days after a great experience here.
Facilities, friendliness and food
Great place to take a break from the casinos in Tunica. Great practice facilities - driving range, 6 hole practice course with great variety for short game, chipping and putting. Bar had great food!! I had fish, shrimp, fries and salad bar for less than $10.
Definitely going back
Great links layout
The staff was friendly though closing the range on a Saturday was odd. The layout, flat fairways and short cut grass reminds me of playing golf in Scotland and Ireland. The temperature and humidity reminded me I was in the Mississippi bottoms. The wind made the day pleasant but the bunkers were awful. Our group decided to play bunkers as ground under repair.
If the bunkers were properly cared for, I'd like to play this course every day.
Not bad for a Saturday
Tunica national for $36 on a Saturday is a great deal. I used 3 rewards so it only cost $6.
The course is in good condition, plenty of practice areas. Bunkers were a little dissapointing , sand was kinda packed down and not well maintained.
I'd play it again.
I still don't like the fact that golf now requires you 3 day advance on rewards . This really zapped alot of reward usage for me. So much can change in 72hrs
Great Course all the way around!
Very nice course for the money. Course is in great shape with a lot of water and sand. Might want to leave the driver in the bag on a lot of hole and play for position. Will be going back soon!!
Worth the Drive
A group of us drove from Indiana through a driving, Midwest rainstorm. We were skeptical that the course conditions would be decent. Good drainage and a strong wind dried the course and the staff allowed carts on the course partway through our round. Can't say enough about the staff - GREAT! Ended up playing three rounds here and everyday learned a little bit more about each hole. The strategically placed sand and water are challenging but not unreasonable. Easy to find. Near the Tunica Casino Resorts.
Absolutely great
I play a lot of golf all over. The entire experience here today was great. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Bob running the place. Course condition was top notch at most any price and unbelievable at these prices. The greens were perfect.....fast and smooth......if you missed a putt it was your fault, not the green's. Do not miss this course if you are anywhere in the greater area.
WE had "another" wonderful time at this course. What made it exceptional were the individuals we were paired with. Great people, fantastic round.
Great Track, Exceptional Service
Tunica National is a challenging but playable course. It is in very good shape and is well maintained. The staff is exceptional and very friendly. Super Customer service.
One of the best around
Course was in great shape. It was busier than I expected for a Thursday afternoon. The pace wasn't slow but wasn't as quick as I like. Staff was friendly and helpful. One of my favorite places to play for sure.
a fun golf course
I think you should discount any recent negative reviews of this facility and personnel. They couldn't have been any nice or more friendly. For the middle of winter around here the course was in very good shape and definitely challenging but fun. It's a bit of a drive for me down from Memphis but it was worth it. Amenities were great. Carts in great shape, course was as good as can be and the greens were in great shape and putted well.
I didn't find one thing to complain about. If in the area, do yourself a favor and go see these folks and enjoy a links style course. Narrow fairways and fun to play.
Great despite heavy rains
Friendly check in at the clubhouse, nice pro-shop and clubhouse. The range is a bit of a drive from the clubhouse but was nice. Had quite a few chipping and practice greens for putting, sand shots, overall a great practice facility. Had been raining pretty hard for a few days so the course was waterlogged. Layout was challenging for my 17 handicap but still fun and playable. Greens were soaked which made putting actually easier. Look forward to playing more in season - overall a very nice course.
Consistent with the other reviews I read
Decent links layout, 5 sets of tees to choose from for different skill sets. The wind can be daunting. For February, greens were well-maintained. Some bunkers were in bad shape. Customer service was average.
