The Cove Golf Course
We played this course on our way home from Branson, MO. and we absolutely loved it. The fairways were plush and the greens were in great shape. I have a handicap of a 7.5 and I'm 54 yrs old and I really enjoyed the challenge the course presented. I highly recommend.
Ian
This course has a great layout with lots of elevation .
Challenging but playable it’s a fun course.
The one drawback is that this is the four seasons ‘2nd’ course that doesn’t get the attention it deserves in terms of course maintenance.
The course can be dried out at times but overall one of my favourites in the ozarks.
Played the sister course which is better kept and a little more challenging (however subtle), but choose to play this course, because of the layout. Also played Osage national and old kinderhook.
Great courses in the area. For layout I choose the ridge.
Peaceful and pristine
This course is beautiful. It is challenging with the water mixed into the fairways. Well-maintained. The staff is quite helpful and friendly. We had a very enjoyable day.
Greens
The greens were full of fungus. Huge dead spots that were dirt. Digger wasp holes.
Fairways were very dry.
Great Course
Always a fun course to play. The Lodge of Four Seasons takes great care of the facilities and the staff is always amazing. Highly recommend playing if you get to the Lake
Great course
Staff was amazing g, course conditions were impeccable.
Bad Greens
The greens were in very bad shape. They had hornets nest in the greens, black mold and brown spots at every green. It was totally not worth it. Play kinderhook or osage.
Cove on August 15th
Overall, I would highly recommend this course as long as it’s not cart path only. The night before they got some heavy rain, but that day the course was relatively dry throughout, however it was cart path only, which is not a good experience at this course with the hilly terrain. Overall, fairways and greens in good condition. Quite a few blind shots.
Awesome layout
Everything was great except we waited on every shot the last 7 holes. Never saw a ranger
Poorly Maintained Course
Course was probably great 30 years ago but now is not well maintained. I love RTJ designs but the course conditions were terrible. Weeds growing in the fairways and the greens in poor shape. This is a terrible value. Don't waste your time or money.
Bad fairways conditions , extremely bad sand trap conditions
Course needs lots of work but has potential if the people renovate it.
