Need to have a Marshall. Twosome in front of us was very slow which backed up the course.
The course needs attention and is in poor condition compared to previous years.
The Ridge course Was our favorite course to play,.
Horrific
This course was a disaster. Played this last weekend (first weekend of May, 2024) and the condition of the course was an embarrassment. Fairway had several types of grass, including brown patches of dirt and dead grass. The greens were also a disaster. Terrible conditions. The Cove charged $125 for 18 … should be no more than $40.
Dump
Do not play this course. It is one of the worst courses I have ever played, and we were charged $120 on Friday afternoon. The fairways are in terrible condition… a combination of crabgrass, weeds and dirt patches. This apparently was once a nice course, but the ownership is clearly not putting any money into it. An absolute ripoff. Stay away.
Lake of the Ozarks premiere golf course
The cove is a gorgeous course and challenging for golfers of all skill levels. Lots of water and elevation changes.
Poor course conditions
Robert Trent Jones would be embarrassed to see this course now. Hal’s dead fairways. Bunkers with black tarps coming through the sand . 4 inch weeds growing in the bunkers. Slow play. Pro shop staff was very friendly and courteous.
Classic course
It was cart path only due to recent rains. The course is a real handful with a very challenging layout. Fairways were still dormant but still provided acceptable lies. Greens were fast enough and held the ball well. The course is a good test of your game. Not sure the pro shop was ready for golf season (no scorecards no tees available) but the staff was very friendly and nice.
Tough layout
Fairway slope and we had trouble finding balls if you didn't hit the fairway.
Amazing service
Right from the start I was impressed with this place. As we walked to the clubhouse a staff member asked where we parked and actually delivered a cart to our vehicle as we were checking in!
The course is challenging, but fun. Greens will have you 3 putting if you don’t get it close.
My only concern is the cart paths, so if it’s cart path only be prepared for a rough ride.
Challenging course!
Enjoyed a beautiful fall day on the course!
The course is in good condition, sand traps needed a bit more sand!
Horrendous pace of play
The course was in great shape and has a fun layout. However, the pace of play was absolutely terrible. We played on a Tuesday and thought it was bad, but Thursday took 6 HOURS to play 18!! The course definitely needs a marshall.
