Amazing service
Right from the start I was impressed with this place. As we walked to the clubhouse a staff member asked where we parked and actually delivered a cart to our vehicle as we were checking in!
The course is challenging, but fun. Greens will have you 3 putting if you don’t get it close.
My only concern is the cart paths, so if it’s cart path only be prepared for a rough ride.
Challenging course!
Enjoyed a beautiful fall day on the course!
The course is in good condition, sand traps needed a bit more sand!
Horrendous pace of play
The course was in great shape and has a fun layout. However, the pace of play was absolutely terrible. We played on a Tuesday and thought it was bad, but Thursday took 6 HOURS to play 18!! The course definitely needs a marshall.
Greens in Poor Shape
Great course layout as well as friendly staffing. Tee boxes Ok, but cart paths and greens should lend the thought to close and regroup to get course into shape. Greens have probably been lost to huge mold spots and crabgrass peeking thru heavy mold locations.
Great day for golf
My wife and I booked online for a Tuesday round. Very few golfers at the course so you set your own pace. The staff was outstanding! Carts are gas powered and GPS equipped. Course was in overall average condition with fairly long Bermuda rough. If you can land it in the fairway, there's lots of roll available. Put it in the rough and good luck finding it. Several of the greens are being lost due to drought, but otherwise rolled true and fast. I love the layout of this course and always try to book a round while at the lake.
Course was very nice
Golf was nice greens needed a little work but overall course was very nice
Nice course~
Clubhouse closed early. Lewis was cart boy. Left there by himself… no cart person.
Top shelf experience
Staff was terrific, including Haley behind the bar
Course is in very good shape
Second time, I’ve played The cove a course, and the people are outstanding lots of hills very challenging
Poorly managed. Many of the staff were just standing around talking instead of getting balls to the range and helping with drinks, etc.
