Loved the layout of the course...most enjoyable
The course was user friendly..the fairways were in good shape. The greens were showing some wear.
Nice course
We played at 2 PM and greens were pretty beat - almost like players ahead of us played with steel spikes - still very playable but TOUGH
Nice layout but greens were awful.
I played this course many years ago and the conditions were pristine with incredible greens. This time the fairways, rough and tee boxes were in decent shape but the greens were awful. There was only a very thin layer of grass and dirt could be seen underneath. There were torn up areas from other golfers shoes literally all over the greens, very tedious to tamp all of them down to have a decent surface to roll a putt. Shots from the fairway with a mid iron or less would generally stop in a moderate distance but chip shots with my L wedge that on other courses will bounce once and check up showed no grip at all. Many chips could not be stopped in less than 30 feet of run or more if there was any slope at all, very frustrating. Repairing ball marks was futile. Using my tool, there was not enough grass to pull in to repair the mark. It just ripped through the dirt with the slightest pressure.
Short course but very nice, played after heavy rains, course drains well.I will play again if I can.
Play if you get a chance, very nice fairways green roll true, played after very heavy rains so greens slower that they looked.pins were not tucked due to weather, course could play very diffacult if set up that way.I will go again if I ever get back to branson.
Course is great and challenging with its narrow fairways.
Course was well maintained. Played the white tees for the first time and it seemed to short. Would recommend playing from the blue tees for the average golfer. Great course for the value!
course is looking good
I played July 27 the and its the best the course has looked in last couple years. The course is laid out really cool with some tough uphill holes. I love playing there except the course has houses barely off some of the fairways so be careful.
Good course just a little short
This was a good course to play a quick round on a hot afternoon. The greens were a little slow, but putted true. I think this course needs an extra set of tees between the black & blue (to short from blue tees). Still it was a great course to play in the Branson area.
More demanding than I expected.
Well-wooded layout with plenty of hills and valleys. Front nine played more difficult than the back. Finishing holes on both nines were very challenging from the blue tees.
Short course that will test your game
This course is short, but that doesn't mean that it is easy. With narrow fairways, undulating greens and plenty of bunkers scattered through out, it will test your game. The fairways and greens were well kept, the staff was friendly. Pace of play was awesome; I played my round in three hours.
Highly recommend due to good conditions on course.
Course was in great shape and well maintained. Big improvements from last years condition. Appreciated the discounted rates provided on Golf-now since we are seniors on fixed incomes.
A great round of golf for the money.
I've played this course on several occasions, and each time I'm delighted. The course is both fun and challenging and a great deal for the money. Don't miss out!
Always enjoy ths course
This s a fun course located along the river. So pretty!
Awesome course
Awesome course but need work on the red tbox because it was hard to put T in the ground to t off but that is our only complaint
Challenging
The course is challenging but very well maintained. There are bunkers in almost every hole, with long fairways.
Lots of ways to get in trouble
We had a great time playing this course. It had a lot of fun and unique holes with challenging shots. Greens were in great great condition and true to putt on. The only problem we had was with all of the blind shots and not having played the course before it made these shots even more difficult. Fun course overall.
This is a resort course and not too long. But, the elevation changes are dramatic and provide for a challenging yet enjoyable round of golf.

The course is older but has been maintained throughout the years. I would definately play this course again.
Good Course for the money
Pointe Royale is a decent course in good condition. With that said, there ae a couple of holes that are just poor. Number 9 is like trying to stop a BB on a bowling ball. It slopes so severely to the left that almost nothing will hold the fairway. 18 is similiar but not quite as bad. There is a par 3 that begs to ask,"What is this?" All in all it was a good course but look for the discounted rates before you play.
Excellent course with many elevation changes.
An interesting and fun course to play. The greens, fairways and bunkers were in excellent condition. Many holes have water hazards. I was very impressed with the stonework used in the landscaping at the tee boxes. The tees offered a variety of lengths that would make this course enjoyable for everyone
Okay course
This course needs to get some earth moving equipment in there to straighten out some fairways... almost seemed like a course for a theme park. Wacky fairways that don't come up to the standards of a real 18 hole course.
Fun course to play
Good conditions some holes were on the side of the mountain or hill so your lies are always off-balance
