Special Course!
In terms of course design, I've played none better. Tom Fazio has you thinking out each shot. The course features unique holes, elevation changes, rolling terrain, water, plenty of bunkers, elevated tee boxes and greens. The conditions had a few rough patches on greens and fairways, and could use more watering -- I wouldn't call it lush -- but overall very good. The clubhouse and restaurant are excellent. A must play course if in Vegas. I look forward to the next time I play there.
Must Play
This was my 1st time to play, and will definitely play again next time I’m in Vegas. The staff was super friendly and the course was in really good condition. Excellent layout and good scenery. I highly recommend playing this course.
Paired up during a pandemic
We were forced to pair up, even though none of us lived in the same household or rode in the same car.
I expressed to them I am high risk for Covid19 because have Asthma and diabetes. When I asked if they were afraid of getting shut down they replied, NO. We were offered a plexiglass divider for our carts, lol.
Oh,and a 5:15 round..
I've played here at least 30 times, but their lack of concern for the health of my group lost them a customer.
Stay Away - Not following Covid Guidelines
The Primm Valley Golf Course is not following Covid Guidelines for social distancing. Their website has no information on how they are keeping people safe during Covid, like most courses in the area and the pro-shop said nothing about riding together when we made the reservation or when we paid. They are forcing people to ride two people to a cart when none of the players are part of the same house hold. The guys who clean your clubs at the end, came right up close to us without wearing masks. Rakes are in bunkers for anyone to touch. I was on the first tee with my ball tee'd up, and an employee drove up and rudely told us we would have to pair up on a cart, interrupting my pre-shot routine. I have played over 30 rounds around Vegas during Covid at public and private facilities, and never been asked to share a cart (even with those ridiculous plastic dividers that don't fully protect you when you are sitting a foot away). They said the only way I could ride solo was to pay an additional $25.
The course was in very poor shape with many bare dirt spots on the greens, fairways and tee boxes. Plus there were lots of large piles of horse/donkey crap around the greens, in the fairways, and on the cart paths, with no effort to clean them up. IN SUMMARY this course is: Ignoring Covid Guidelines, is in poor condition not worth the $59 local greens fees. I will not play at Primm again with so many much better option closer to Vegas.

great course
Course had very few players this day and we had a great time.Lots of sprinklers this day which slowed us somewhat but all was good,
Soft, wet and dirty
Sounds like a fun combo, but not for a golf course. There were patches on the fairways and on the greens where there was no grass. Just patches of dirt or mud. My beautiful white balls kept getting chunks of mud stuck to them. The ground was really wet near the green. As you walked to the ball, you could hear the water squish and the ground felt really soft. On one approach to the green, the ball actually went into the green. Half of the ball was in the ground. Parts of the course were really nice but others looked like crap. I got the impression that at one point this was a really nice course but now it's kinda run down.
Nice course
Great course, greens need some work, but has everything you need for a course. A good test for golf skills
ski
Sand traps awful. Course is in descent condition overall. I would play again.
Sunday funday
Great place to play. The golf course just fit my eye. Staff was great, I will definitely go back
Good Time
Course was pretty good condition , pace of play was horrendous for the heat & Covid times but that would be more of an issue with the groups in front of us.. Over 5 hrs to complete. Kitchen closes at 1:30 , but the Desert course does not pass the clubhouse except for 1 & 18 . Why is the Lawnmower running on a sunday mid day ? dude would not get out of the way , tight fairway
green side condition remained as a con
I like Lake course better than desert course but due to overseeding, only have to play at Desert.
Front nine is easier than back nine but less interesting. green and it's side needed repair.
They said Lake would open from Oct.1st.
Fun course
For laye summer the course looked good. at before playing for a great price. Pace was quick and fairways looked good.
Hey Karen, find something tangible to rip this course for, not because your preshot routine was interrupted
You should have been happy there was a course for someone of your ilk to play
