About Crystal Springs Resort
Crystal Springs Resort is a 4,000-acre playground located only an hour across the New Jersey state line from New York City. It is one of the country’s largest golf resorts with six courses - Ballyowen, Black Bear, Cascades, Crystal Springs, Minerals and Wild Turkey – and three driving ranges. The Grand Cascades Lodge houses 220 guest rooms with an inspired welcome: An outdoor putting course leading to an indoor lobby with high ceilings, wood beams and a stone fireplace. Both it and the 175-room Minerals Hotel feature their own spas and pools. Children will love the Biosphere, an indoor pool complex with an aquarium, vortex pool and caves, 140-foot waterslide and café, all in a tropical theme. Twelve restaurants are spread out among the course clubhouses and hotels, delivering a variety of menus and price points. Between the Mineral Sports Club and Adventure Center, there’s always a new activity or program to enjoy.Facts

Please no foot golf.
I will never play another course that has foot golf on it. This should be disclosed, Also had an extra pin and a larger cup for children on each green. Why wasn't this also disclosed.
Pace
Tee time was 12:57 started 1:08 just fine.
but have to wait almost every holes.
Oh my god finished 6:35 play 5 and half hours.
Wouldn’t recommend
I waited 30 min for a cart that I prepaid for.
There were neighborhood girls walking around in the course randomly.
Loud motorcycles near 8th and 9th holes.
Would not go back.
Extremely slow play
If you enjoy 5 1/2 hours rounds this place is perfect for you. 3 foursomes backed up at every tee. No rangers to speed play. Not worth the money at any price.
Mr. Bart
Great course for the $$$.... challenging layoud, overall course was in good shape.
very scenic.
Worst experience
They sent me out the first day as a single with 4-5 4sones in front of me and today they sent me out with a 2 who never played golf before
Course not a fair layout
If you can’t put the ball in the fairway you are in trouble because of the moguls. Course has a challenging layout. Some pIn locations were impossible to hit . Even the pros would complain. Even if you hit the fairways the ball is never level which makes for a very challenging shot for the average golfer . Staff was friendly and helpful.
Greens
Greeens were in very good shape. Difficult to read and a bit fast
It was okay
Honestly wasn’t an awful course. Most of my frustration was pace of place and who we were paired with. Staff was super friendly and gave us a quick layout before we went. Got paired with a single that really had no etiquette, but that’s for later. The course is in good shape and had an interesting mix of holes. 13 was crazy narrow, but that was the story of most holes on this course. Mountain courses aren’t for me, but anyway. I liked the downhill par 3 that was 110 yards. Made you think of which club a few times.
Now to the pace of play. It was backed up bad. We played a 5 hour round mid day on a weekday and that’s crazy. It had just rained so 8 holes were cart path only which is understandable, but on a normal basis 6 holes are cart path only. That really slowed down play. The person we were paired up with was a nice guy but he really annoyed me. Pocket dropped a ball on every hole, drove off when people still needed to tee off and picked up any ball he found, even if it was from our own group. That’s not the courses fault but it was just annoying .
Amazing!!
I LOVE THIS COURSE, ITS GREAT!! VERY FUN TO PLAY, VERY WELL KEPT AND THE STAFF IS AWESOME!! AMAZING FAIRWAYS, AMAZING GREENS AND OVERALL BEAUTIFUL!! GO UP TO CRYSTAL SPRINGS AND ENJOY PLAYING AND HAVING A GREAT TIME!! I AM DEFINITELY PLAYING AGAIN!
