Improving
Played when first opened in in lat May or early June. Course in much better shape now. Nice to see improvement - especially on the greens
Wonderful golf experience from start to finish!!
As long- term golfers and members of two North Jersey golf clubs, we have experienced this excellent and challenging golf course nestled in the beautiful Pinelands of South Jersey! The club house and adjoining hotel will soon feature top notch amenities comparable to any country club in the state which we are looking forward to enjoying this summer.
LBI National provides experienced and outstanding golf professionals with Zach Bush, Head Golf Professional and Art Robidoux, Lead PGA Instructor providing quality lessons to golfers of all levels with their expertise and patience!
The Pro Shop, managed by Jan Mazur and his staff are professional, warm and welcoming!!
Our experience throughout last season was outstanding and our plans for this summer includes many rounds of golf at LBI National!
Great Place for a Round of Golf
LBI National is a great course with narrow unforgiving fairways. Love the course and it is in great shape. Only downfall is no beer or drinks until they get their license. BYOB.
Love this course
So I ended up getting a rain check for the date of my reservation due to a storm that came in. If it were just light rain would have absolutely done cart path only and played but with wind and heavy rain at times the course called me a few hours before my tee time to ask me if I’d prefer a rain check or a refund through golf now. Knowing how much I liked this course from a previous time I figured I’d take it. Today (12/11) I had another tee time originally booked but somehow less than 25 miles away it was pouring and it was just overcast with the occasional mist here so I called to take them up on the rain check and had no issues. With lack of bookings due to the gloomy skies I was sent out by myself at 9:10 and only had 2 groups ahead of me that were hauling through the course. Didn’t get held up at all and just took my time with no one behind me either. Great round, course is in phenomenal condition (especially for this time of year), and staff is friendly. I know this place can be pricey in the peak of the season so if money is a factor for anyone else when it comes to $120 rounds, it’s only $59 full price now and on a 50+ degree day it’s totally worth the money
Good layout, nice round
Course is in really good shape. Always fun to play.
First time this year playing the course as LBI national
I was very disappointed in the overall condition and crew running this facility.
After being back in operation early spring of this year.
There are no improvements or signs that this is a LBI national course.
Only Sea Oaks?
The starter yesterday has an issue with starting the Tee time on delay start due to a freeze delay.
In addition a late party’s member from the group in front of us cause an additional 20 minutes. This is not fair to delay us!
We finished but in the dark on the 18
This starter did not care.
I will not be back
Constructive criticism
I’ll start by saying this is my favorite layout in the area and I want to make this my go to course. Never a complainer but today was a poor experience. After a frost delay there were many back to back groups going off. The staff did a great job getting everyone out as soon as they could. Atrociously slow older group in front of us (the starter noticed immediately) who refused to let us play through even though they had a full 2 hole gap in front of them. Saw the ranger once, so there clearly was one. Anyone who’s ever played golf could have seen this group was holding up the entire course. After 4.5 hours and 14 holes we decided to call it quits.
Vivamee, if you want to be successful please appeal to the younger customers in the area who don’t want to play a 5.5 hour round on a weekday.
Great condition and layout
Course was in great condition. Played as single and grouped with three others. Good group. Nice layout. Played 1-15, 16 and 18 before dark. Nice staff
