Excellent condition
Course was in excellent condition. Multiple tee locations allow you to select a yardage appropriate for your skill level. Several difficult pin placements today.
Great value with a 50% golfnow discount
Played on last day of our semi-annual AC area golf trip. Hadnt played in a couple years, so I had forgotten what a great layout this course offered. Now tied for my favorite AC area course along with AC Country club
Course Solid - Staff Not Friendly
Sea Oaks is in good condition, and course a nice challenge. I was struck by the unfriendliness of the staff out front. Two attendants walked by me not helping as I carried my bag from car to stand for incoming golfers. Then, after I had confirmed my GolfNow Tee time inside (and fact I had paid in full already) when I came out no one offered to load my bag on a cart. When I inquired about the 3some I'd be joining, I was told (wrongly) that it was a foursome and that I'd be playing by myself. When I said I thought that was incorrect I was literally "laughed" at! Upon checking the starter "grudgingly" acknowledged that I was correct. When I was running my companies I would have had zero, zero tolerance for this unprofessional conduct.
Golf was great
Played with my son in law on his birthday.Had aa great time. The coarse was in great shape. We paired
up with other guys and had a great day.Hope to come back real soon.
overbooked
The facilities and course were great. Nice layout, but the course was grossly overbooked. Waited on the tee almost every hole. A lot of twosome not paired up. The starter wasn't much help.
normally a good day, BUT played behind a really slow foursome
Nice course, tough greens, have been there 10 times on the way home from Atlantic City. Just a few mins off the Garden State Pkwy.
awesome track
Juse played this course for the first time and absolutely loved it. I will defiantly be back
Great Course
The course is in great condition....Staff are always awesome...and thanks to Golf Now for the discounted rates!!! Would play there again in a heartbeat!!!
I LIKE SEA OAKS
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT I WOULD GO BACK IT TOOK 5 PLUS HOURS TO PLAY.
Nice challenge, with tricky greens
The greens were in great shape. Not rolling fast, but looked to have the ability to be double cut and rolled to give a extreme putting challenge.
Great views throughout the course and maintained very well.
Long distance between practice green to driving range.
I signed up as a single and was paired with three others. The fourth showed up late so I left the golf cart for him near the the bag drop. I walked to the putting green (long walk). It seemed a little disorganized from the cart boys to the starter. Various tee boxes, good layout, fun course. The conditions were great the greens were consistent and fast. My only regrets were we had numerous beginners in front of us and it turned into a 5 hour round. The sand in the bunkers I was in was consistency of flour and difficult to get out. I would definitely play this course again and hope the hackers stay home.
Great layout.
Course was in pretty good shape. Greens were still a little slow due to the aeration and recent rain. The bunkers needed to be rotor tilled as most of them were patted down from recent rains. Love the layout and the challenge... can't wait to play there again.
Sea oaks what a day
I have played sea oaks many times always in great shape and in the winter they throw you lunch with your round great place to play and the staff treats you well
Slow greens
The greens were slow and bumpy .... Very disappointed
Roll and cut them please !!!
sea oaks
Always have loved the course. Great place to play. minutes off the parkway. some greens still have aeration marks but overall in great shape. looking forward to playing here again
Tough Greens
The course has a good mix of par 4's, 2 long par 3's on the back, and challenging undulating greens on almost every hole.
Greens were still bumpy, recovering from aeration a couple weeks ago. Tee boxes and fairways were in pretty good shape.
Pace of play was horrible on the front taking over 2 and half hours, but at least one group quit after nine allowing back to play in 1:40 finishing just before a light rain.
I've only played this course in the fall in a charity event but would like to come back again in a few weeks.
Oh and the beer specials on the course were great, 4 beers for $8=10!
Sea oaks
You wouldn't think of elevation changes at a jersey shore course. Up and down hills with tough greens that require shots to specific areas. You'll be back! Good course w a good 19th hole.
Always enjoy this course
In pretty good shape for this early in the season. Greens were a bit tough because of recent airation but I expect that this time of year.
Nice layout
For early season conditions were not bad. This course is really the best in the Southern Ocean County area.
Mr. Bucki
Great layout. Large greens. Lots of bunkers. Good course for all types of golfers.
