About Mountain Creek Resort
Mountain Creek Resort is a four-season destination in Vernon, N.J., just an hour outside of New York City. It features a waterpark; the 27-hole Great Gorge course, which was purchased in 2018; the Treescape Aerial Adventure Park, home to zip-lining, climbing obstacles and rope walks; and a Bike Park of 52 trails that is loaded with jumps and 1,000 feet of vertical drop. The course was part of the old Playboy Club in the 1970s and 1980s, attracting famous names such as Dean Martin and Bob Hope for a game. It’s a beautiful property with wonderful mountain views and elevation changes. Guests can stay in the Appalachian hotel or enjoy more space and privacy in a one- to three-bedroom townhome rental at Black Creek Sanctuary. Both accommodations offer outdoor pool and hot tub facilities.Facts

Course good shape
Course was very nice visually fairways cut neatly only thing was greens still healing from aeration, another week should be good. Staff friendly helped you out, good value for early season play
Great Farm land scenery
Very interesting course with 3 challenging nines. Very friendly staff.
Beautiful day to be golfing
I always enjoy playing GG except when the course is backed up due to slow players.
Golf
The burgers I bought for 8dollars apiece were raw and the soda was 3 months past the due date beside that the course is beautiful just bring your own food
No maintenance
Nothing maintained, the course is in very poor conditions. I would not come back here again. Ghost former Mr. Hefner’s paradise.
Great
Course is in terrific shape for February. Greens punched 2-3 weeks ago so sand and bumps are present but not bad at all. Bare foliage makes it easier to find balls that otherwise would be long gone. Only issue was slight delay teeing off bc too many carts were given out in the AM. I’ll be back this winter.

Winter golf at its best!
Great winter golf conditions with no cart restrictions. Weird the have skiers in the background! Bar has drinks restaurant open Thursday through the weekend. My first time but I’ll be back. Thanks!

Lake/Rail in January
I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the Lake & Rail 9's. Of course it was moist, but overall in Very good shape. The Greens rolled true & were pretty quick. Even though it was Cart Path Only, some players were OFF the path on numerous occasions. A shame that in January golfers knowing we just stole a day out, couldn't honor the requests of the Facility. for CPO. It was a great day to be outside instead of being hunkered down indoors..
