Played from green tees. Fairly easy course pretty flat slow greens. Aerated recently,lots of sand,got a good deal and had fun

The course is in much better condition in the early November than that in the spring or summer. Fairway and green were beautiful. Most leaves had been cleaned out of fairway and rough. In addition, the price from Golfnow is too good.

Wife and I played 11/2 and was glad to see an old classic in NJ has returned to its glory days. Course is in excellent shape after a few years of going downhill. Some of the toughest Par 3's you will ever play.

The course was beautiful with the fall foliage and bright blue skies. Great shape (except for greens but we knew ahead of time) and very well maintained. Could be one of my favorite courses in northern NJ. Challenging enough to be fun but not discouraging. Highly recommend this course!!!!!

Booked this course twice this year through Golfnow. Showed up and the course was Aerated even though there was no notice on the Golfnow listing. If I knew it was being aerated I would have booked elsewhere. Very Disapointed.

It would have been good to know that 9 holes of the course had been aerated before I had booked it through Golf Now.

Fairways and greens are in excellent shape. Tee boxes need some work. Cart paths are terrible but they repaved one or two holes

The course gives challenges along with freedom, each nine is different with its own picturesque.

The pace of play could have been better. Hard to play fast on a weekend

Played Quarry/Lake which were in reasonable shape given it was October. The fairways had not been mown so it was hard to differentiate fairway from rough on most holes which is annoying when you don't know the course. The greens on Quarry were good and fast, Lake were poor - very bumpy. The course played long as it was wet however no standing water anywhere and did not find any soft spots. The course is challenging and worth playing save for a few gimmicky holes but the clubhouse, cart paths etc ... need to be updated. The starters did seem a little disorganised given it is 27 holes and was very busy the same day. The pace of play was good with no hold ups and the on course marshall was very friendly and kep things moving. Its worth going just for the golf, however i did not hang around to eat there.

2:36 tee time; teed off about 2:50. 2:30 for 9 holes. Great layout, tough course. Needs some $$. Terrible cart paths, need to see a chiropractor after playing here

Great value, great conditions and fast greens on Lake and Quarry. Very pleased and will return to play again soon.

This WAS a premier course for many years. It went through a couple of tough years which included a GAS Mainline installation. It is now back in style. Moderate to Fast Greens with maintained Fairways. Time to go back and see the great views and Great Gorge.

I reserved Quarry course but they changed to rail and lake without letting me know

Course and staff were excellent as always.

Fairways were maintained, rough was juicy, and the greens fast & true.

No big deal but the cart paths are pretty beat up. Although they have started fixing them.

Tee boxes are fine mostly but there is one that's terrible. Tee box on Lake 4th has a huge hump in the middle (especially from the green tees). Please fix it.

We played Quarry/Rail courses. Pace of play was 4.5 hours on a Sunday of a holiday weekend, so not too bad. It would have been quicker but the group in front of us was playing off the blue tees, and they should not have been.

The course is very nice but many of the tee boxes were barren and/or were sloped. With all the rain we have had, some of the fairways were a bit shaggy, and the rough was very gnarly.

All things considered, we enjoyed the course and would play there again.
