Course condition
Staff was very friendly! Course was at best a municipal course! Greens were decent but everything was not very good for the money.
Enjoyable Course
The course was in good conditions with the pace of play somewhat slow. We were sent off behind a group of walkers late on a Saturday morning that were hitting all over the place. Overall, the course is enjoyable, and we will play it again when we are in the area.
Nice round of golf
Staff was very friendly. Starter was very friendly and informative. Answered all of our questions and added some other helpful information. We will come back again.
Ranger needed
I love this course, and that is why I booked to play. A Ranger would have been helpful. There was a wedding party outing that held up the course. For twenty minutes, three groups sat on a par 3, betting with each other, who could hit the green. They were also flirting with the young, attractive cart girl. A Ranger would have been helpful to move things along. There was also another grandpa teaching his grandson. They would spend extra time on the green after they putted out their real ball. A Ranger could have helped in that situation, as they help up play. My round took more than 5 hours. That is unacceptable.
Nice Course
First time playing. Will be back. Fairways and greens were nice.
Good round 8/2/25
Booked this four days in advance for 2 golfers. East getting out on a Saturday. Staff very friendly. Course is in good shape considering the time of year. Some tee boxes a little beat up but they do a good job filling sand in the divots. Couple of fairways burnt but playable. Greens in pretty good shape. 4 hr 20 minutes. $130 price. Would play again.
Pace of play consistent issue
This is my favorite course near the shore layout wise and staff wise but the tee times are too close together. The course is always backed up, and there were multiple holes we sat on the tee box for 3-10 minutes before hitting. Hitting the second shot on a par 5 and waiting 10 minutes to hit almost always leads to frustrating rounds. Cart girls are nice, cart path is good, the fairways are nice, no complaints about any of that. There is one par 3 over water that the tee box needs some serious work.
Love the course and the vineyard landscape
This is my second time playing the course. It was as good as I remembered last year. I like to add this to my mix of courses while I stay at the Marriott Fairway Villas. It offers a great balance of challenge even though there are plenty of open fairways. The course was in great condition for mid-summer hot season. The tee boxes were in great shape and the greens allowed for smooth rolls despite other players leaving spike marks all over the place. I look forward to coming back again, hopefully soon.
Fun and wide open
Balls in the air 6:39, threesome. Done at 10. Wide open fairways but some tough pin placements. Had a bunch of three putts or could have really went low. Friendly staff and def course you can go low on. Crab grass rough was kinda gross.
Nice Course. Inconsiderate Players
My wife and I played here for the fourth time this season and while the course is starting to show some wear, the worst part are the golfers that do not know how or even try to rake bunkers or fix ball marks. We followed someone who didn't know how to pick their feet up on the green and proceeded to rip every area that they walked on. You could see exactly where they putted from on every hole making putting difficult and bouncy even after tamping down the ripped areas. The cart girls are nice and the halfway house is perfect. We like going in for a drink afterwards at the bar next door but haven't had too much luck with the food. We will definitely keep coming but hoping that the golfers start taking some pride in the game.
