Seaview, A Dolce Hotel
About Seaview, A Dolce Hotel
Seaview, A Dolce Hotel, was founded in 1914 as an exclusive country club. It has a long history of hosting professional golfers, presidents, rock stars and celebrities. In 1942, Sam Snead won the PGA Championship on a combination of holes of what is now Seaview's Pines and Bay courses. The Bay course, a regular host of the LPGA Tour, delivers the views beyond Reeds Bay to the Atlantic City Skyline. The hotel includes 34,500 square feet of meeting and event space, indoor and outdoor pools, three restaurants and a fitness center. The historic charm of the interior feels like a trip back in time.Facts

pine course
Tee boxes were in terrible shape
Rough was uncut in areas and not in good shape
Nice layout slow greens
Too much money for the condition of the course I will not play it again stick with the bay course unfortunately it is overpriced
The Bay Course
Haven't played the Bay course for many years, forgot have great it was. Condition was pretty good, views are spectacular. Always windy at the Bay course but we forgot about it and played on. Can't wait to play again.
Day out.
Tee boxes were absolute trash. Know it's been hot but there totally scraped off with huge holes on them. Absolutely no reason that bad. Worst I've ever seen on Pines. Played course over a 100 times over the years. You like twisted ankles? It's all you. If not groundskeeper should be getting docked pay or send me half my round back. Rest course Ok but heed my warning.
Loving the Bay
Had a great time at the Seaview Bay course. Weather was prefect, course was in very good condition and pace of play was very good also.
Pines classic course
I invited 3 friends, bunkers are in terrible shape need to be replaced, lots of stones , hardly any sand , some muddy.Rest of course Not very well trimmed . It was extremely hot 🥵 never saw cart girl on back nine, I ran out of water on 11 . One girl can’t cover the whole course , and practice range too .
Decline
Was a member 7 years 2009 to 2016 and I’m disappointed in the overall shape of the Pines course particularly the tee boxes. Extremely over priced. Such a shame.
Trouble at the beach!!!
Great golf course. Everything a golfer could ask for except one thing: THE TRAPS ARE A DISGRACE. I’ve played there for years, and hope that they will improve. But, no. Same horrible condition.
Pro and Con
Played this course many times before and really nothing has changed...the tee boxes were real bad...fairways ok and the greens were good but the overall condition of the course leaves a lot to be desired. I guess all the love is going to the bay course.
Always good
Seaview is a wonderful course, The course was a little beat up.
Not as Nice as I was Expecting
The greens fee was, in my opinion, overpriced given the conditions of the course. While the greens were well maintained, the tee boxes were not in good condition on many holes and many of the cart paths were very bumpy due to tree roots, pot holes and broken pavement. More than a few sand traps had hard packed conditions that made it hard to get your club under the ball.
Great Course… if you get a decent price
Both Seaview courses are solid selections. Well maintained, great staff. Courses are in very good shape, but not worth $100+. Luckily, I’m on vacation and got hot deals. Fun courses. 3 wood a good choice on many holes.
