Seaview, A Dolce Hotel
About Seaview, A Dolce Hotel
Seaview, A Dolce Hotel, was founded in 1914 as an exclusive country club. It has a long history of hosting professional golfers, presidents, rock stars and celebrities. In 1942, Sam Snead won the PGA Championship on a combination of holes of what is now Seaview's Pines and Bay courses. The Bay course, a regular host of the LPGA Tour, delivers the views beyond Reeds Bay to the Atlantic City Skyline. The hotel includes 34,500 square feet of meeting and event space, indoor and outdoor pools, three restaurants and a fitness center. The historic charm of the interior feels like a trip back in time.Facts

Bumpy Greens
The course was great- looking forward to coming back and playing soon. The greens were very bumpy and did not give a true roll. Anything beyond 8 feet was a complete crapshoot, as these bumps took the ball wherever it wanted to go. I'm guessing this is part of getting the course ready for the Shoprite event. Playing again in mid-May, hoping to get true rolls by then!
Seaview Bay was awesome!
Greens and fairways in super condition! Friendly members and excellent team! Definitely returning soon!!
Seaview Pines Course
The Pro shop and attendants were great.
This course has improved over the last couple of years. There are two areas that need improvement.
Tee boxes and bunkers. Since the white tees are probably most used they need to work on them each year. Even if they do some in spring and others in fall. Bunkers on this course are way too large for the grounds keepers to maintain. No less golfers don't seem to know how to use a rake.
Greens are in good shape, still healing from aeration, only need to cut and roll them. Fairways also good shape. Rough was cut and growing in. Most dogleg holes you will find anywhere. Trees will block you out if you are short or on the wrong side of the fairway. Overall a good layout that needs a little financial support to make it a top course in So. Jersey.
Needs a tune up
Great track needing some TLC The tee boxes were really bad , if the greens keeper moved the tee up or bank to a better teeing ground on the tee box That’s just not paying attention
The greens needed a trim The course and the people who play it deserve better
Your welcome for this assessment it was well earned

Played here 4/21. It appears that the grounds crew is off until they close for LPGA. Greens were absolutely atrocious! See better greens in January and February. Bunkers not manicured and way too much sand. Place could be awesome and for the price it should be, it is not! If a muni were in this condition the staff would be (and should be) fired! Super should be embarrased!
The course is in good shape considering the spring that we have had. The fairways have been cut , most sand traps are well groomed and the greens are recovering well from aeration. Ball washers need to be made useful but overall the course is in good shape. It certainly is challenging course and an interesting layout. It was well worth the money and an enjoyable outing.
Great course
Great course on a beautiful day. Nice layout, great conditions, and friendly staff.
