Compadre 2015 trip Photo submitted by lpgallegos1 on 06/01/2015
Course was in great shape. Greens were on last bit of recovery from being punched so putting was somewhat challenging. The carts definitely need replacing or at the very least a lot of maintenance. My cart brake would not lock, a bit challenging when on a hill, which most of the course is. Overall was great and staff, what there was, very accommodating.
Beautiful but disappointing
No scorecard, no ice chest, divots everywhere and no cart service. It’s such a beautiful place but sadly not taken care of or serviced.
Always fun
Course was in great shape but I had no warning in advance that they punched the greens (aeration) the afternoon before so the greens were terrible. I would not have played if I knew beforehand.
Honesty
If you’re going to have aerated greens, at least inform people before they book a tee time, or at the very least give a discount for green fees since you can’t putt on them.
Had me wanting to come back for more
This course was AMAZING!!! What a challenge it was but well worth it. Only issue was a tournament was rescheduled for that day that we where not aware of so we got the first 9 holes before the tournament started so we left. Will be back.
Locals are very loud and drunk.
Been playing here for long time, but staff , service, and facilities are getting worse.
From first hole group ahead of us supposedly staff of the golf course had there day off completely drunk from first hole getting in confrontation with us and other golfers, and playing slowest golf holding us other golfers behind us, keep trying to call the club house but busy signal, On Top of that Marshall did not show for entire 18 hole we played.
For the amount they charge to play it’s not worth it.
Spactular mountain course
Great course but had to play back 9 twice due to punching. Golf now needs to let that be known at time of booking.
Front nine supposed to be signature holes and it was closed.”
Terrible Customer Service
The course was understandably closed due to soggy conditions. However, not only did they fail to notify people with confirmed tee rimes, but they didn’t so much as put a note on the door or a recording on their answering machine. We and a dozen other people all arrived for our tee times and tried to contact anyone at the club to confirm whether the course might reopen or how to reschedule. We had arranged our day around the 3:00 tee time. Management of this course obviously has no consideration for the time of its patrons.
Beautiful but slow
One of the nicest and most challenging courses I’ve played. Just a touch on the slow side but that could be due to just a couple extremely slow players ruining it for everyone.
Make the tee time
Nice course really enjoy playing it, however is is kind of cost but you do get what you pay for
Greens are almost back to 100%.
Finally have a normal monsoon season this summer. Good rainfall has given the course what it’s needed for a long time. Greens are in great shape over what they were the last two summers. Conditions made it worth cartpath only rules that were in effect the day we played the Inn.
