Inn of the Mountain Gods

I had played here many years ago and wanted to play it again because I knew how challenging it good be. The tight fairways and elevation changes were expected. The course was in great shape with the exception of a few bumpy greens. Will definitely play again soon

Greens and tee boxes need some work a few of each but course is a must play, one of the best tracks in New Mexico

Other than a few of the tee boxes needing releveling the course was very nice. The greens had been punched recently as well so they were a bit more challenging (but you have to do that and I understand) . We don't go to Ruidoso that often but the next time we do, we will play here again.

Course was over booked leading to a 5 plus hour round along with people allowed to start to play on hole 10 between groups making the turn

Exceptional course, awesome staff!! Thanks Anthony and Hope… you guys are the best. Your hospitality is off the charts!! We will be back next year!!!

My wife and I played here on a beautiful Tuesday. We had a great time. The ONLY things that stopped me from giving a full 5 star review were some of the tee boxes needed to be relevelled, (which it appears they are in the process of doing) and a lot of the greens were pretty bumpy and appeared to have been punched and have not recovered from that yet.

We will play it again the next time we are in Ruidoso.

The course was in great shape, but quite challenging. Lots of trees to avoid! Unfortunately, it started raining, with thunderstorms and lightning at hole 8. The course sirens went off and we had to leave the course. After about an hour in the course restaurant, they said that it would not be opened for another few hours. So, we went to the pro shop and asked for a refund/raincheck for the second nine that we could not play. Since I paid for the tee time through GolfNow, they told me to request the refund through them. After I got home, I went to the GolfNow app and find out that they do not do refunds once the round has started. This is terrible and I highly suggest (and will suggest to all my playing friends) NOT TO EVER book through GolfNow. They ripped me off and I will never use them again! Also, there is no way to contact anyone or provide feedback through the app.

2 groups of at least 5. Players in front of us today. Front 9 took 3 hours. Marshall on two occasions said he spoke with them but not till 9 did they step aside so we could play thru. Some greens in good shape but many the ball never rolled it bounced.

Proshop staff told us last week pricing on (fake) inn of mountain of gods not usable and rude about it when shown the website.

Shame but rainmaker snd links just a better value!

Pros- Great layout fantastic fairways.

Cons - tee boxes need leveling, greens need so TLC rough moves the ball off line. No senior tees would be nice to play about 5800 yards

Course was fun to play. The round took 4:30 or more, and greens were okay. Beautiful views and we had a good time.

The course is challenging with its tight fairway angles, but it’s not discouraging. Great round, perfect weather, outstanding views.

Group in front was having a party on the green. We asked the Marshall to come out and take care of it. The MARSHALL APPROACHED MY PARTY VERY AGGRESSIVELY DROVE DOWN THE MIDDLE OF FAIRWAY AND ACCUSED OUR PARTY OF BEING THE PROBLEM. Not only did he get up in our faces he threaten us as well. The 75 year couple we were paired with stepped in and told your Marshall it was the other group. All of the sudden he changed his attitude because a older person ( im 58 lol). your greens are in terrible shape and the rounds was slow due to the issue. I will never play that course again and I will make sure everyone I know hears about the poor experience at your resort. Get better Marshalls
