Very profesional and courtious
Staff was very friendly and helpful, course is decent, open with not a lot of hazards, some areas a little wet which I understand to be norma[ for this course. We will play here again
return trip
Played here twice during our month on the Strand
Would have played more but time is running out
Superior experience all round
Beautiful course in beautiful surroundings
We will be back
Course conditions
The day I played the course, it was very wet. Drives could end up plugged in fairway. Really want to give it a try sometimes when it is dry.
Brunswick Plantation
Played 2 of the 3 nines and found them well designed and fun to play. Would be a good course for all levels of players. Good conditions.
Good all around course
Course in great shape, needs water hazards and hazard better marked, maybe even yardage to from tee box
Brunswick Magnolia and Dogwood are very nice courses for a great value and excellent golfing experience
I played Magnolia and Dogwood courses this past weekend. The day before I played the course it received quite a bit of rain. The morning of play it was foggy with a heavy dew that took some time to burn off, so the course was wet but very playable. The layout of the course is challenging but fair. The staff did a great job of getting the greens mowed early to remove the dew. The greens roll true and they putted moderately fast.
I would certainly recommend playing Brunswick. It is a very good value and will challenge your golf skills.
Good layout, multiple tees so playable for any handicap
Greens in poor shape. Bad drainage on tees and fairways, do not play if wet weather occurs 3-4 days prior to play. Play is fine if weather is dry.
Overall nice cours
Needed some mowing, has some dead spots on a few of the greens, but nice grass and overall enjoyable course to play
Brunswick
Condition of the course was poor overall. Fairways a bit overgrown, greens were slow but not bad. Staff was friendly.
A gem in Calabash
Greens were moderately fast, putted well , and were in great condition. Fairways and tee boxes were well maintained. Loved the layout with 3 nine hole courses. I played Magnolia and Dogwood and thoroughly enjoyed both.
There was a problem with my Golf NOW reservation but the staff at the course handled it seamlessly. I would recommend this course to friends and anyone who likes a challenging and well maintained course.
Great variety between the different 9's
I was on vacation and played the Azalea and Magnolia 9's one morning. Perfect situation for me, as a 4-some was ahead of me and no one behind me.
I was able to play two complete balls the entire round which always adds a level of excitement and fun.
The first 9 was a little more open and allowed for some misses off the tee even though I didn't have many. The layout and routing was great and the course played a little longer than normal I'm sure since it was a little wet.
The 2nd 9 wound through the trees and penalized any missed tee ball, but the routing was again great and I enjoyed it immensely.
Would definitely play again...I think the yardage was somewhere around 6800 from the back tees, so it wasn't too long...probably played about 7000.
And for the price? Can't beat it. Really had a great time, the staff was awesome, and I'd play again in a heartbeat.
Good value for the money
Average difficulty and in good shape. Greens roll true. You can play more spectacular courses in the area but as the title states...it's a good value. Give it a try!
Enjoyable round for our foursome
Course was in good shape;greens a bit bumpy and sandy from aeration about a month ago (my guess);some challenging holes;some scoring holes; no complaints; solid value for JULY play. Staff friendly and attentive.
