Great Day of Golf at Brunswick Plantation
Played Magnolia & Dogwood ... great fairways & greens!
Staff was very informative and courteous!
We look forward to playing there again...
been a few yrs
we last played here about 3 or 4 yrs ago.......at that time they were redoing the traps and it was fairly bad.......this time the course was fantastic and the round was very nice.....hope I get to come back to MB in the future and will def play Brunswick again
Great bang for buck
Course has awesome value. Great staff, great lay out, pace was good, great condition, and can’t beat the price.
Unacceptable
Save your time and money. Fairways are long, greens are shag carpet. Entire course is a swamp even though it last rained 5 days ago. There was audible sloshing while walking the greens. Tee times are apparently more of a suggestion than an actual appointment. No ranger so the geriatrics were allowed to take 50 min for 2.5 holes. Besides all that, the course is really just kind of mundane. This course should not be open.
Greedy
I am new to the area and they are greedy people and I will never play there. There are too many courses in the area for me to put up with poor customer service and greedy course managers.
Could not find the course
I got there a little later than I wanted too. As soon as I walked up with my clubs and cooler the man checking us in told me to read the sign. No coolers allowed. That’s when I told them I was bring my cooler because they had no water or anything open to eat or drink. They explained no coolers with beer. I said don’t worry. I hate beer. But if I did I would bring me some if I wanted it. Then as I stepped off of the curb one of the guys working there was driving a cart very fast and almost hit me. So it did not start off very good at Brunswick plantation.
Nice Layout
This is a fun and slightly challenging course. The fairways were recently over seeded and they have not been shy with the water. Several plugged balls, no roll, and cart oath only. This is a necessary process but perhaps play another course for the next 2 weeks.
I will be back to play again when the seasonal conditions change.
Pleasurable round with locals
Greens were in great shape. Grouped up with a very nice local couple. I’m hey we’re originally from Maine. Every hole is unique. Doglegs left and right. If you know the course it’s pretty easy to avoid the water.
Great day
Enjoyed beautiful day on beautiful golf course . Course in good condition, nice layout. Very courteous staff that helped accommodate our special needs. Will be back !
Very good round with great company!
I thoroughly enjoyed my round today! I was a single paired up with 3 other guys. Super fellas! They knew the course and guided me around a bit. Beat my handicap score, so that’s great too!
We enjoyed our round quite a bit but unfortunately caught up with a very slow foursome and had to wait on each hole after the first 4. They never offered to let us play through. Not the fault of the course, just not the best golf etiquette. The course was wet from rain so we got no roll but the greens were fairly fast and true. Beautiful setting.
