Great course
The course was immaculate. Fairways were plush and greens were excellent
Amazing Views
Course is on a beautiful piece of property stunning views on many holes. Pack a lunch a as physically demanding course you will play. Zoysia fairways and beautiful greens. Scoring can be tough driver definitely not needed on many holes I was hitting 5 and 7 woods off the tee
Rest up!
Stunning course!! Absolutely beautiful. Be well rested because this course will challenge your physicality!! Remarkable elevation changes. Loved it!!
Wow!
What an amazing course! Immaculate condition, fun, challenging and gorgeous.
Amazing Views
So let me preface this review by saying, I've played a lot of golf courses and this by far had the most amazing views I've ever seen. I drove 3 hours to play here and passed by many other courses that might have been cheaper, but this was by far worth the time and effort to get to.
-Somehow, the pace of play was impeccable. I normally play as a single and I got paired with a twosome and one of the other players was new to the game and he was still able to keep up with the group in front of us. I also never felt pressured by the group behind us. That was really nice.
-The course conditions are really amazing considering the winter most of NC and SC have had. I feel like in a .month or two the course will be really nice and green. The sand traps were some of the best maintained I've played out of.
-Take the time to enjoy the views. Especially on 18 and the 15th.
-The Staff also was extremely helpful. When I pulled up for my tee time, they informed me that the clubhouse had had a water leak and might end up closing operations until they could get it fixed. Luckily, they only delayed my time by a few minutes and were helpful. Due to this, I couldn't really get a gauge of the food offerings but it seemed like the standard fare.
-This is a harder course than it looks. Even though the distances might be shorter on the card, if you can't shape your tee shot on some of the Par 4's especially you're either gonna be out of position or lose your ball.

Nice golf course
This course is really hard with forced carries and tricky greens need to play a few times to appreciate it.
Great course, but greens had just been punched
Great course. Fantastic views and challenging holes. My ONLY COMPLAINT is that booked on Golfnow and there was no mention of greens being aerated a week before I played. Also, no discount on price. Very sad to drive two hours to play course and be told about greens. Even with all that, I highly recommend playing this course. Numerous elevation changes and great views of Smokey Mountains.
Awesome course
Greens were airrated but love playing it. Steep n tough course but I love a challenge.
Great condition
Sequoyah Nat'l was in excellent shape on 2-1-22. The fairways are dormant grass, but the ball sits up on top and makes it very playable. Greens we're decent too. Excellent value on GN.com, even though there was a very slow 4-some in front of me. It really helped that it was sunny and 57 degrees w/ very little wind. Really a fun day!
One of the best public courses in WNC
Course was in great shape for the middle of December. If only it was as affordable during the summer months, I’d play there all the time.
December 1st and golfing
Played on a Wednesday midday after a freeze delay. Sun was out and it warmed up nicely. No one in front of us. Played in under 3 hrs only because we had to look for a few lost balls.
