Fun course with great views

We had a really awesome round at Sequoyah National. The course is not very long but it makes up for it with some tough greens and narrowing approach shots. Course was in good condition and provided some stellar mountain views.

Beautiful Mountain Course

This was my first time playing this track and it won't be my last. The course was in immaculate condition with perfectly manicured fairways and greens. Even though I didn't hit from the bunkers, they were visually in great shape. Placing your shots is key to playing well here and the undulations of the greens are something to behold. The views around the course of the mountainous terrain was gorgeous and being from WNC, I'm used to this type of view. If you can make it during the fall with leaf season, you will be in for a real treat on this course. 10/10 recommend with the hot deal and I will be back soon.

Must play

If you're going to the casino in Cherokee I highly recommend playing Sequoyah. The upgrades to the course was outstanding. Only got to play 11 holes because of a storm but was given a 9 hole rain check. Can't wait to go back!

Gem of a course

Great awesome layout with amazing views. Great conditions. Such a great course deserves a much better clubhouse, which was average at best- like a muni.

very challenging course

unique golf course in Smoky Mountains . Back tees are only 6500 yds- slope 142 Blue 6125yds slope 139. In many places if your shot misses the fairway your ball is gone-- no need to look. Play conservative--- fairways & greens---- birdies are available. The aggressive player gets chewed up here.

Amazing fairways and greens.

This course was in great shape. I play a lot of places including Myrtle Beach. This course is as good if not better than most courses at Myrtle Beach.

My new home course

The zoysia fairways and bent greens, the mountain views, the no standing water, the list goes on about how awesome this course is.. The Superintendent, the Greenskeepers, theGolf pro, the general manager and the retail manager and those under them all deserve a raise.

Awesome fairways & greens!

It is an amazing mountain course that will challenge your game. I recommend U bring a range finder with slope measuring & adjusting ability.

I would recommend this course to everyone; certainly” best” in area!

And, I would play it again. Very cool!

Outstanding experience

I drove over two hours to get to this relatively remote location and it was worth it. A little pricey when compared with other courses in the general area but well worth it. An bsolutely beautiful layout in immaculate condition from tee to green. A true mountain course with huge elevation changes and gorgeous views. It is a tough course, though not overly long at just over 6500 from the tips. Drives that don’t find the fairway pay a heavy price with a lot of natural growth areas bordering the holes. Greens are huge but with large swales that can result in a lot of three putts. I will make the trip again. I highly recommend it.

Sequoyah Experience

The Sequoyah National is one of the best courses I've seen and played in my golf career. The fairways are like carpet. You must bring your (A) game to this course because, there is only a slight room for errors. The greens were spectacular. A little slow in the morning due to the morning dew. I think the best features of this course was the view. Awesome !!!!!.
