Great Course!
This course is typically pricey, but I was able to get a good deal with the Hot Deals. Really enjoyed, first time playing. Beautiful layout in the woods with water views along the course, highly recommend it. Very well maintained!
Tee times
We had 2 confirmed tee times from you on Thursday and Friday and found out you are not connected to Kilmarlic. We had to.play later because our tee time was not in their system. Get your act together! They referred to you as idiots. Maybe I should drop Golfpass.
Better & Better
I like this course more & more each time I play it! Great layout, greens were fantastic! Shorter par 3s also helped with a nicer score! A must play!!
Pace of play was awful we quit after 14 holes which took 4 hours and 35 minutes we were are pace for a 6 hour round
Higher Handicappers Beware
First thing -- I wouldn't use GolfNow to book your tee time. Drove an hour to the course to be told our tee time wasn't in their system, even though I had a confirmation from GolfNow. Thankfully it was the first tee time of the day and we arrived early, so they had no issue getting us out. Course was in great condition despite the very wet conditions. We had just gotten about 8 inches of rain the day prior. Course plays extremely tough if you are a higher handicap player. Be prepared to bring an extra sleeve of balls as this course is not forgiving in any way. Best of luck and hit em straight!
Kilmarlic Golf Club Is a must-play course in the outer banks
I had driven past Kilmarlic Golf Club several times but had never played it. After finding no availability at a nearby course, I decided to give Kilmarlic a try, and I’m so glad I did—it was absolutely amazing. The course was in pristine condition, and the overall playing experience was top-notch. The staff was fantastic; they met us in the parking lot with brand-new carts and gave us a thorough rundown of the course. The clubhouse is also impressive, with stunning views of the 18th hole. I will definitely be returning in the future!
Golf Now Scammed Me
I got to the course 30 minutes early only to find that there was no tee time reserved. Golf Now does not have access to the course system. The people at the course were great and tried everything to accommodate me but we could not work it out. The time Golf Now claimed to have reserved for me was before the course was even open. My advice to anyone traveling is to call the courses directly!
Windy day, but beautiful course
I couldn't recommend this place enough, when comparing it to other courses in the OBX area for the money. When we played it was super windy, so the course played more difficult than usual, with winds swirling, making certain approach shots near impossible. The staff couldn't be more friendly, and the amenities, which include a beautiful outdoor area to watch players come up the 18th is a great addition. The course layout is great, given that you're never playing the same style of hole twice, and the wind changes up after at most 2 holes. Will definitely come again.
A Must-Play in the Outer Banks
Kilmarlic Golf Club is a beautiful and well-kept course that’s both fun and challenging. The layout has a great mix of wide fairways and tight, tricky holes with water and bunkers that keep things interesting. The views are amazing, especially the par-3 5th with its island green.
The staff is super friendly. We were met in the parking lot with carts and given a run down of the course. the facilities are great . If you're in the Outer Banks and looking to golf, Kilmarlic is definitely worth checking out. I will be back soon.
OBX golf
Not a lot of options in OBX so this course is one of the few good ones. Greens were receptive and rolled pretty good, if only people would fix their pitch marks, interesting layout with a little woods and links layout. Played in 4hrs so not bad for a public tract.
Wonderful time
Staff was very helpful, booked with Golfnow, however even though we had a 7:45 am tee time confirmation we were not on the tee sheet. Not to worry, the staff got us out early. Great, friendly staff, course conditions were excellent. Definitely will return.
