About Kilmarlic Golf Club
The Kilmarlic Golf Club is one of the anchor courses of North Carolina's beautiful Outer Banks. As a former host of the North Carolina Open in 2004 and 2009, the course is kept in tournament condition. It also includes a four-hole short course from 27 to 45 yards. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom Cottages at Kilmarlic house golf groups looking to stay. Adjacent to the cottages is a lighted putting green and the Westside Athletic Club with 8 tennis courts, swimming pool, fitness facilities, complimentary yoga classes and an outdoor basketball court. The Black Tartan Tap Room serves burgers, signature sandwiches and salads to hungry golfers.Facts

Great Course, Great Experience
I was on vacation with my family but was able to slip away for an early tee time. Was partnered with two others, who were excellent to play with. The course was beautiful and in great shape. The holes were well designed and offered challenges but were not impossible and gave great opportunities to this 20 handicapper.
Nice course layout. A little pricey . Had to follow 2 groups of 5 and a threesome, had to wait on almost every shot. Overall nice course to play.
Bring your A game
A very nice course but very challenging. Most of the par 3’s are relatively short depending on what tees your playing from. The greens are fast and undulating and will challenge your putting skills. Good luck and have fun.
Bugs
I have never been bitten by flies so many times in my life. The course was gorgeous buts it’s hard to appreciate when you are a human all you can eat buffet.
Excellent as always
Been playing here since I’ve first visited the OBX in 2008. Kilmarlic is an awesome course and the people that work there are as awesome. Scott the starter(bartender) was really cool to meet. We will be back again..
Fun course!
Those course is for all levels and just as fun as the first time I played it a year ago!! Highly recommend
Fantastic course and staff
Hidden Gem for the OBX area. Challenging course with varying tees for players of all skill levels. You really need to keep your ball in play or you w can easily loose a dozen. I love playing here but there can be a pace of play issue due to difficulty of course. It was a six hour rd in carts. That needs to be addressed more vigorously. Highly recommend with a caveat that you need to bring your patience for slow play
Great Vacation Course
I recently played Kilmarlic Golf Club while I was on vacation in OBX. Easily one of the best golf courses I’ve ever played. From the course conditions to the staff friendliness and attentiveness. I also played this course in March, so the grass was dormant, but the course was still in beautiful condition. Would recommend to anyone going on a trip to the outer banks and taking a morning to hit the links.
Outer Banks Must Play
Terrific Outer Banks course. Love the layout and strategic layout. Conditions were very good.
