Beautiful layout and condition
Course condition is very good. Greens roll very well but pace of play Sunday afternoon is very slow
Great 9
I played the back nine teeing off at 3pm. Great round of golf and we beat the darkness. Clubhouse is great, and the staff is super friendly. The range and practice area are in great shape. Will definitely be back soon
The course has fun challenging greens.
Great course was play was very slow… over 4 1/2 hours, especially on last nine. We were a 3 some and we waited to every hit… sometimes 8 on hole and 8 waiting.
Slow
We quit after 8 holes and 2:30. There was a 2 group back up on the 9th tee Pace was horrible. I will never pre pay again and waste money on a golf course. I am a PGA golf professional and I am well aware of labor and staff issues but this was atrocious
Nice course with VERY slow play
Staff very friendly. Pace was horrible though. No marshaling occurred and a group without tee time was crammed in front of us on The tee sheet. Round took 5 1/2 hours which is awful. I have played Legacy in a CGA tournament in much less time!
The course layout is great and conditions were good.
The pace makes it a non starter for going back though. If pace was even 4.5 hours the review would have been 5 stars.
Not the best
I have played this course multiple times and this by far was not a good experience. On the first tee the group in front of had 6 players in same group. Ased starter and pro shop to fix with no results . Round played at almost 5 hours .
The six then split into two groups essentially inserting another group. Play was slow and no fix from staff. Course also looks very “tired” no well maintained, fairways not good. Unfortunately will not be back anytime soon.
Legacy
It's a more then good , but fair tract but most be somewhat accurate.
don’t waste your time
I played this course one time approximately a year or two ago and really enjoyed it. My friends and I went there today and charged us twice as much to play as anyone else… The course has a great layout but it is an all around dog track. the greens were awful and the fairways were soaking wet (haven’t had rain in 5 days). No one in the pro shop notified us that they just punched and sanded the greens either. it was like putting on a dirt road. I will never go back to this course
Eh, pricey for the track
Usually when you travel an hour outside of Raleigh, and tee off at 745 you would expect a fairly quick round. Not so much. Every hole we waited. And the group in front waited. Not sure where the problem started. Greens are good. Fairways are ok shape right now. Fairly nice layout. Will not travel back though.
